  1. Interesting that at work in Charlottesville I can't gat data on LTE. Up near Kroger in Rio Hill. No problems with data in the Stony Point area. Miss signal check. What would be similar for the iPhone?
  2. Well, speed test is now showing 5-7 Mbs, but the Ping is horrible. I'm not complaining just surprised. Don't know when it started. Just decided to try right before I posted. Wasn't able to connect yesterday. Finally. Been waiting since WiMAX.
  3. Finally able to connect on both the 6S+ and M9 in Charlottesville. 3-5Mbs
  4. The M9 is, would assume the 6S Plus is as well. I know our old tab is LTE as well, but its met with an unfortunate end recently.
  5. I have been seeing "Sprint LTE" on 3 of our phones but not a stitch of data. Have been trying in Chaelottesville since it first appeared. I have a 6S Plus and have tried everything, even banging my head against the wall with chat. My wifes M9 shows LTE and no data, same for my N6 before traded in. Any ideas? Just wait it out?
  6. Perhaps, although I have never noticed it before. Usually (on the N6, I can't remember on all the others I've had) the signal indicator will have an "!" instead of the 3g. I have never seen 3g indicated when I was not actually receiving a 3g signal on this device. I will admit I could have missed it before and only noticed then because things have been wonky lately.
  7. Am I the only one who's having issues within Charlottesville today. Nexus 6 shows 3g but signal check showed only 1xRTT. Had to toggle airplane mode to pull 3g back. I know its not the device...
  8. Sitting in the Stony Point area this morning, both my wifes M7 and my N6 did a network update at the same time. I thought it was a bit weird, Turned on data and took a bit to connect, then only 3g. Still showing nTelos in Signal Check. For giggles I ran a speed test, still at .75 Mbps down and little bit more up.
  9. For what it's worth: Data went down around 9:30-10 last night on allour devices. I ddidn't have the energy to call Customer Care so went to bed. Right before I got a Sim card error about being incompatible, I cleared it and went to sleep. This morning I woke up, data is fine. However I had another notification that 4G setting were incompatible with my Sim and to contact customer care. Wish I had screen shot it but was half asleep. I just rebooted and gone. Don't know if it means anything, just thought I'd share.
  10. You have a point. It's frustrating to keep waiting and waiting with no hard news from either other than "an agreement" has been reached when asked.
  11. Think I'm finally done. Years of waiting for either Wimax or LTE with no real progress has made other carriers look more and more attractive. 3 lines, and I believe none are going to be renewed. I laughed when a rep told me August, just tired of waiting. Will be end of 2017 before Charlottesville sees LTE from sprint. Not waiting that long.

  13. Sorry for the lack of details, I was posting while at.a red light. He claims its "official" and this came in the form of an email. I would have asked to just see it but knew I'd be shut down. I started laughing and he became very serious. I told him I had heard all this before (albeit the email is new) and he swore it was coming. I think I believe solely because I WANT to believe.
  14. Just left Sprint store. Rep swore LTE by end of August for c'Ville. Said received an email.
  15. Random data issues in C'ville again. Losing data for no reason. Well, for any other carrier it'dbe no reason. For Sprint its....normal.

  17. Has anyone noticed an improvement in Charlottesville? Speeds seem better, but M8 just got a firmware update so I don't know if its that or not. Network was unavailable around 4:30 am this morning like it was last week. Was unable to connect on any device.
  18. I don't want to rain on a parade, and to be fair the agreement wasn't in place then, but I had been told by several reps back in November that C'ville would see LTE in Feb. I hate to say it but I just don't believe they are given any real information. I WANT to be wrong, believe me. A sprint retail rep attends our church. If I remember I'll ask her if she has any news.
  19. Had issues as well, called Sprint this morning and got the usual. I'd love to believe its tower work but iI'm more inclined to believe it was due to the storm last night. I have more faith in the weather than LTE.
  20. Sitting in Charlottesville and couldn't help but try toggling LTE on my M8. Knew it wouldn't be there but...well...had to try.
