  1. Actually the smaller one is the oldest. The 2.5 is bigger than the original airave. I think In the sprint account webpage you can change some settings.

LoooL so then i got kind of "screwed up" cuz i originally had the larger one and now the smaller..... Ill make a call to airave cs and chek

It doesnt matter. The Airave transmits data equivalent to the internet speed it is connected to. If your ISP at home is 3mbps your airave wont transmit more than that.

And I think the 2.5 is this one.

My sister has one at Mayaguez and I have initiated calls using it and they were handed off to the sprint network as I drove away.

I thought i grabbed sprints signal and amplified it.... I have the newer smaller unit at home (got it on july-august) but if it has a menu i can enter and change settings.... I really dont know.....

Ive had them for almost 4 years and never had them make the handoff....

    The 2.5 officially does.

Why it rocks: AIRAVE 2.5 covers up to 5,000 square feet – you can tweak the coverage size to fit your needs. Calls automatically transfer to the Nationwide Sprint® Network once you leave your home or office.

Yeah apparently they do! Remember they were using Centennials system, when Centennial Left, ( i was caught with that) they lost a lot of service towers and connections. Now, they are building up slowly. Few people have told me to leave sprint, but i dont want to. Has not given me problems during the past 4 years. 2nd upgrade is in April, and not sure if I want to stay with the same EVO 3D until it dies ( old faithful) or get something new. Suggestions?

    Suggestions..... EVO LTE!!!

Huh? What does a government change have to do the work being realized as far as network upgrades? Are they building new towers that need government permits?

Anyway, I was at a doctor's office in Auxilio Mutuo yesterday and I had LTE in the doctor's examination room, but 1x in the waiting room ugh.

I also get pretty good LTE at my in-laws in Guayama, go figure.

Guayama is running LTE pretty strong... My in-laws also live there at Brisas del Mar and there is LTE all over the place
