double post, sorry

Interesting, I read a lot of ppl on the Internet who had it say enabled when it connected. I've been told that jelly bean changed so that it would be enabled only when connected to lte, which was not my experience. (I guess I've cream sandwich used to say enabled... Just what I've been told)

Haha well next summer I'm moving to the state where the sun always shines.
I must say, I was in Boston and wow, Lte was amazing, and 800mhz voice, I had fantastic signal with signal check pro, voice sounded the best I've ever had
Once NV is done it's going to be incredible... Should buy sprint stock lol

well to anyone who ever reads this, must ahve been working on that tower? The next day I woke up it connected to LTE, but DATA screen still says LTE disabled when connected
need to get my MSL
-
July 5, still not a lick of LTE anywhere in Northern Ct market. Kind of surprising honestly.

incredibly disappointing actually. Good chance i'll have left the state before I see LTE coverage where I am lol
-
sorry to bug you all now, but any reason that now i have the custom prl my phone won't get on LTE lol. ##data# says lte disabled
yes enabled in settings-- more
-
Oh very cool thanks, so I should leave the custom prl

Actually the custom one is ahead of 25015...what SID are you seeing 800smr on?
25015 sid 1xrtt gives sid 4106 (-69dBm)
33010 on 800mhz gives sid 22429 (-71dBm)
so different towers
-
So in boston, and if I'm on the stock PRL i get 1xRTT, but when i flash the custom PRL i get 800mhz coverage (same spot)
Anyone know what's going on? Does the stock PRL not prioritize 800mhz at all??
(custom PRL is out of date i think, it's 33010, whereas the stock is 25015)

Parents are in Florida on the ocean in west Palm and they have 4G. Told my dad to do a speed test, call quality was great when I spoke to him

Sure let me check when i get back. It doesn't show up under NV sites under sponsor forum and is definitely not roaming

There's a tower less than a mile from me in Ellington, and for some reason my phone doesn't ever want to connect to it, it wants to connect to the tower 5 miles away... Sigh. If it wasn't for the airave at home I would have had to jump ship already!

Darn, sorry I was super excited that sprint was rolling out lte. Any idea if t
Our area will see 800mhz in a few days?

Aww you just killed my excitement, thought light gray was really low signal

Yeah at least it's on sensory. It's very light gray so I'm not sure where the tower was that was mapped! That'd be so awesome to be the first northern ct Lte site lol

looks like someone just mapped some LTE on sullivan avenue in south windosr up to buckland hills mall on sensorly...i'll have to check it out next time i'm over by the mall

Did a speed test by my house and by 84 near Vernon, 500+ms ping with less than 200 kbps up and down, very sad right now

Awesome, thanks guys. Hopefully we'll see 800mhz and let soon!

To my knowledge, all northern ct sites are gmo. So a full build is required to see 800mhz or lte. Most of the southern ct sites have been full build outs. I hope I'm misinformed lol

Glad to hear everything's well now. Yes I was there there was great speeds and voice.
What sucks is I guess northern Ct won't get 800mhz until the very end of NV...So probably of until the very end of 2014 at the earliest, very disappointing

anyone know if the northern CT market is setup for 800mhz?? I know they basically put up only GMO's i think
-
i kind of want to buy an evo3d so i can use wimax, something tells me that my galaxy s3 will never see LTE before being replaced next summer
-
i remember a month or two ago i was at st francis hospital on rotation and i had ~2000kbps down and 1500up, it was impressive, and had great signal

some kid complaining, but the sprint rep said there was cell sites upgraded to LTE in Hartford?! This was a month ago
Kid said he was basically by Hartford Hospital
Sponsor maps show the nearby towers as NV completed 3G though?
