NO - I got nothing at Lanikai..... Towers still shut down in Kailua Hopefully they don't make us wait much longer....

Mid-Pac LTE is promissing! Ill Check at Lanikai Beach tonight. That would be a different tower they are testing. Which would mean 2 tower in kailua! YAY!

Bill - Maybe they have another tower they are testing. I was on Wa'anao last night. Got 4g all the way to Keolu.

Also - only 3g in Kaka'ako where they hand out building permits like candy....

Bill - The Kailua Town side of kailua has had lte up for about 24 hours now. I live in Enchanted lakes....so no go. Over by Kimos surf hut I got 12.38 down and 3.85 up.

Its gone now.... Was up from as late as 5pm (when I drove in) through at least midnight (last time I checked) When I woke up the next day...it was gone!

We may be closer than you think. I had a STRONG LTE signal in Kailua for a few hours last week. Testing the tower? Or just false hope?

Aloha Twospirits! Long time no see! (phandroid) Aloha 808Bill (xda) Small world - Anyway.....Keep hearing that towers are getting updated - but my service is getting worse and worse. Wife is Frustrated.....and we all know what that means! I was able to briefly get lte in Waikoloa - but signal was in and out. Here on oahu - all is abysmal.....hoping someone has good news. Thanks!

OK - Coverage is getting worse and worse. I am constantly dropping data and calls in areas that used to be fine. Texts don't go through etc. Bad to terrible. I am on oahu.....anyone else experiencing this?

I understand the permit issues - it is just frustrating - how much money are they spending to upgrade an area with (i would guess) 3,000 subscribers (1/4 of the population - so being generous) Anyway....will be on the kona coast for a week next month...maybe I will get a glimpse of things to come.

That makes perfect sense....1.5mm people in hawaii....1mm on oahu. And they start on an Isolated Coast of the Big Island with less than 12,000 residents....

Not sure....but it looks like a few LTE towers have been approved. and lots of 3g upgrades....

So Starting this weekend - and continuing today. I have had some serious erosion in service. HOPEFULLY this is a sign that they are working on towers? Anyone else experience this? Aloha!

I think the kick in the nuts is - when I traded in my 3d (with wimax) the manager said should be nearing Complete coverage by the end of the year. So I went a head and got the htc one....which is nice.... Where in SD - My Little bro lives in Huron...

Still no Action that I have seen. Sensorly has NOTHING on the their Maps. Tmobile ETF buyout looking better and better. Might wait for the nexus 6 then jump ship.

ha! Whats Up Ramjet! I hear you on your bandaids....Unfortunatly I don't hAve the $ to buy a nexus. Got the htc one on sale for $50 when my 3d broke. WITH the promise that lte would be here by Xmas.....not looking likely.
