  1. Nah this was the tower I pick up when I'm at work near market and telephone by the dmv. For whatever reason I had no data but signal check said I did. As soon as I left and headed down telephone my phone picked up data from another tower, for whatever reason I just couldn't get it at my work. I'll see what happens tomorrow.

ive got great news for us ive got it the past 2 nights an official lte signal off johnson from freeway exit to raiston but the strongest signal I got was -103 dbm but im pretty sure thats a good thing it should be near us soon I couldnt map it because sensorly said my battery was too low

  2.

Can someone more knowledgeable than me help me to understand why my signal check shows lte but I have no data? Is it a tower problem or a problem with my phone?

thats over by your house right? I got it thw other night for like the 5th time I think they are just testing it out

  3. If it's like the site by my work, backhaul.

There was a site 3G accepted in Ventura, a bit over a week ago.... so no they haven't given up.

thats good it seems like most towers in ventura have the 3g speed upgrade so that must be a good start right?

  4. The whole Sprint network has eHRPD enabled. It is on the 3G side, and it does not require any physical work to be done at a site. It can run on legacy sites as well. It is not an indicator of LTE, and it does not produce better speeds.

If you have several things to say, say it all in one post. Don't be spamming up the thread with all your one sentence posts.

thats not 100% true not all towers have ehrpd capability some still are just evdo

  6. Well its the first time this particular tower has been lit up, I haven't seen it anywhere else nearby yet, but maybe I'm not in the right areas. I spend days here and lunches usually out and about on main street from telephone down to the fairgrounds. I live at Johnson and telephone is wood bridge and even though I've seen some mapped on sensorly on Johnson I've never successfully picked it up. That being said the LTE I had picked up about 10:30 am is now gone and I'm back to 3G. I don't know for sure but I always thought this particular tower was on palma next door to UPS, but I don't know that for sure...

I mapped the 4g on johnson I live right there ive picked it up a few times but it doesnt successfully give me data, and I think mid town will be next.. I dont think east side will get it unfortunately till next year

  7. Absolutely correct. I've had an evo, and an evo 3d and there was no wimax in Oxnard or Ventura except that one site off vineyard, where conveniently no one lives or travels...

thats exactly what I had I miss my evo very happy with my s4 tho and getting lte :D

  8. Theres been a decent amount of wimax coverage in the oxnard ventura area for a while now. It never expanded because this area was being launched right as clearwire ran out of money.

wi max was horrible as far as ventura county goes we only got it in a tiny area in el rio
