  1. In woodbridge I can pick up a faint bar of lte if im outside, but inside I don't get a strong enough signal. My phone still struggles to get any sprint reception whasoever indoors at home. Im HOPEFUL that 800 will help me on both fronts (data and voice) but Im not so sure if it will yet. From my experience in the valley if my phone has even the slightest, faintest, tiniest, miniscule bit of reception, it doesn't want to pick up 800. My unusably faint sprint signal at home will probably keep my phone from kicking over to 800 me thinks. I wish the threshold would be raised a little bit to an unusable level of reception causing the switch, instead of having to have no signal whatsoever.

I only get it in my room upstairs and phone is close to window but is awesome

  3. I'm kinda halfway between Johnson and the barranca, on parakeet court. When I walk out of my house and head toward Johnson I can make a call, but still no data. Speedtests turn up "network communication issues" I cant pick up data until I head down telephone towards Victoria in front of Pacific Oaks credit union, and then when I get to Victoria data dies again at the intersection of Victoria and telephone.

That's not true for me at all I'm like 10 ft from the Barranca and I never loose signal anywhere in ventura except here on occasion

  4. We got one when we first moved in, and it was worse than the reception we were dealing with, calls wouldn't connect and we would get voice mail notifications without our phones even ringing, so we sent it back and just did our best. My fiancé moved on from sprint to straight talk when her contact expired (AT&T towers) and she couldn't be happier.

i at least usually have signal but it gets dropped often and it's low speeds but your like 1/2 mile away from me.. so idk maybe it's just wood bridge are you near the Barranca

  5. I'm just doing a couple week trial run, see how it performs where I live, work, play, and travel and take it from there. I haven't left sprint yet, but if t mobile is going to pay my etf back to me there's nothing keeping me from exploring other options anymore.

Yea I tempted but I'm gonna stick it out with sprint a bit longer I believe you live right by Me and t-mobile service here is incredible my roommate gets really good speeds everywhere

  7. To map an area on Sensorly does my phone need to use the bands that are planned to be mapped ? Makes sense that it would.. I have an S2, meaning wi-max not LTE, so would it just be a waste of time? Thanks!

yea haha sorry for the disappointment

  8. This is actually Samsungs first major tier 1 network deployment. They did some work for clearwire a bit back for wimax.

As far as we know and can see, Samsung is the most aggressive of the 3 vendors with arguably the best deployed equipment [right now] AND workmanship on their sites so no shenanigans with sites configured incorrectly or bad installations [cough ERC cough].

that is very exciting so are thry planning on doing all of cali first? And spark is better than lte right?

  9. One more thing to add im new to having other people work on cell sites aka venders. The thing i was wondering is why when I was driving my gas scooter i saw samsung alcetel and Ericsson workers by one cell tower.

thats who works on sprint towers

  10. Cool thing just happened i have zero dots for signal and i still have LTE and I did a speed test and I got 31.41 Mbps download with no signal dots thats cool.

the dots or signal strength is based off of 1x talk and text signal the data signal is totally you need an app or a way of getting into your system to see that

  11. In Woodbridge I can't even get a signal.... Period, unless I'm roaming. If my phone is holding onto some unusable sprint signal (like it always does) I can't make a call or send a text. I'm hoping 800 can help me at home.

in todd ranch I get a really weak 3g(ehrpd) signal

Ps: try an app call network signal speed boaster

Im also rooted and have tweaks to boost signal
