I frequent that area all the time but I been out of town for the last few weeks on my usual business travels and won't be back until next saturday. When I get back I will look at the map and try to map areas that aren't showing up yet.
Its not just Sprint user. ATT and Verizon for LTE, they dont have much mapping except on the highway also.
Sorry to come into conclusioin too fast for Sprint.
-
I map my subdivision, little of Mt Zion, half of Upper Riverdale and part of Roy Huey.
Really, nobody use this app and nobody have LTE phone in my area?
Forgot this is not Silicon Valley.

You need to check and see what your dbm's are. My lte signal(on my evo lte) tends to drop off at around -107 or so. Most times it will connect if I toggle but it drops back off soon after. Once my signal comes back to at least -107, the phone reconnects by itself just fine.
If you are in good range, you still have to toggle sometimes?
Does changing PRL make things better for LTE?

I know I had been beaching about this before, after my OTA update, my LTE problem is gone.
It has been 6 days since I did any phone power/off and when I come back to my home or near my LTE tower, my LTE comes on.
I would say a LTE range around my house is about 1.5 miles radius.
If you are close to a LTE tower, your dbm should be in that great range. This is very true. See that post Robert mention.
-
Thanks Robert. There is no app out there that can read data strength and put it at the top of the task bar?
-
If those bar on the phone are not data strength, in a way when you are near the tower and its 5 bar, then the LTE should be strong too in a way?
-
Does anyone know the LTE tower at the Atlanta airport? Especially at the northern part of it?
I see purple circle all around the airport on Sensory, but dont know why the LTE signal would go in and out at the northern end.
I been using Sensory to map the LTE signal whenever I can. :-)

At my office I am getting -2147483647dBm
Dam! No I mean Hoover Dam.

Hey, I am on my 2nd day with the updated OTA and I think the LTE tolerence problem has been fixed.
Here is my uneducated free public school education says and here is why:
I am trying to help Sensory here map new LTE signal n when I go running every morning and when I am near the bounds of the purple color, sure enough my LTE indicator flicker with the strenght bar decresing and it go back to 3G.
Then when I come back to the LTE area again doing 4 miles of big circle, sure enough the LTE signal comes back on again right where Sensory was map by someone with the LTE.
Robert I think you want take me for a spanking back out in the woods and yes it is frustrating to see a LTE tower few feet from me and not able to get any LTE without toggling airplane or reboot the phone. That was before.
I hope everything is getting better for everyone and your pursuit of LTE signal.

250gb for me is not enough at home and I sometimes supplement my Sprint on it.
-
Yeah that big area around hooters is all me, all they way down tara blvd to krogers. Try to use sensorly as much as you can so we can get a more accurate map of the area.
I find that Sensorly does not work with the screen off. That is what it said due to Android OS.
-
I have Sensory and VZW is blanket with LTE right now more than any other carriers.
-
The EVO update feels solid when used on its own. But when used side by side with other LTE devices, you will still notice a huge difference.

You mean between S3 and HTC LTE, the S3 wins?
After 1 day, the radio update as been great compare to previous radio. I want to wait few more days and see if it hang on the LTE more often.
-
I have been pleased with the update radio after 1 day.
I have also join Sensory and my house got a purple circle on my street. I guess themuffinman had it on the side where Hooters is?
-
Before I did my update this morning, my LTE has keep degrading by the day until it can never find LTE anymore even if I am feel blocks from the LTE tower.
I like to wait a few days without reboot or toggle airplane mode to see it can really hang onto the LTE before I celebrate a little.
-
Have you all seen better performance and LTE connection with the newer OTA update?
I finally was able to get s-off and update my Radio , PRL, etc today.
I will know more in a few days after I dont reboot my phone.
You all notice improvement?

How about this, I will trade you an evo 3d I have laying around for your evo lte and all your issues will be resolved.
I paid $420 for it. :-( But since it has Hboot 1.12 that would be on high demand.
Actually I want to get the HTC Evo Design. I cant even find one that is NEW. The beauty it got is a SIM card. I can use it here or in Canada and in my country and get a prepaid SIM card and use it.
I cant leave Sprint becaue the SERO is sooo awsome.
Benchase7, what is that video? Looks weird. Optical illusion?
-
I regret selling my 3D phone. I should have keep using until mid of next year.
Why didnt I do more research?
Before I can go further, I need to resolve this s-off thing. I cant even do OTA update.
-
Anyone see improvement in the LTE hanging on? Threshole improved?
I cant update. Have to depent on the cook ROM people.
-
I have not seen any improvement at all. I am right near a tower and my LTE does not hang on.
The completion rate now is end of 2013.
-
I am at this one particular location yesterday aroung 7 pm and I am getting avg 13 mbps down and 9 mbps up.
Then I did at 6:32 am this morning and it was avg 26 mbps down and 14 mbps up.
I guess it works great when nobody is using it.
-
I am getting good 13 mbps down speed now after I did a reboot of my phone few days ago and my LTE seems to stay constant the whole day when I am at home.
Can we all get along and keep it that way?
-
Everytime I reboot my phone, I can get LTE connection and I can do speed test and get good 6-7 mpbs down.
After a few days when I dont reboot my phone, my LTE signal goes in and out and it really get to LTE and when I do the Speed Test, It would just hang and time out using the Speed Test app.
Do you know what is going on here?
Do you have this same experience as me?
-
I was sooooo excited on July 15 when they turn on LTE. I was able to get LTE for many days.
Now I dont get LTE to hang on anymore. I mean I am literally within a few feet of the tower and I dont get anything. Even rebooting my phone does no good.
There is a like 3% completion for 1 month now at 22% right? It will never get to 100% by Dec at this rate.
Frustration aside, what is going on? It seems like it has gone from bad to worst. Did something change?

Is RootMetrics any good vs Sensorly? I am going to try it out now.
