  1. well maybe last summer, seems like it was longer. does anyone know what towers the lte is coming from for the lakefront? the maps don't show any LTE complete for the lakefront.
  2. I have a tri band phone, so i wont get LTE till it is fully lit up, with the csfb installed. it's been said that generally its anything marked yellow on the map, but that hasnt always been the case. people have detected LTE on sensorly where I am from as far back as a year ago, along the lakefront, but not sure from where since there are no LTE sites complete on the map near me, just 3g.
  3. oooo, its like a Christmas present! one tower is two blocks from me, its marked 3G on the map, yesterday in the early morning noticed I had LTE signal outside of my house, is it possible that this tower is waiting for the Lte switch to flip?
  4. I have not had problems with voice in Waukesha at all the past few days, i work near sunset and 164. Today south of Dowtown Milwaukee my G2 kept bouncing back and fourth from LTE and 3G, was really interesting. I got almost 30Mbps down near southridge!
  5. I have had no coverage at all today on the east side of Milwaukee, cant even make calls. hopefully that means that there is work being done.
  6. Dang what time was that? This morning on the drive to work could not connect to the network south of downtown. Did a prl update and booom had lte in the same area as you. Only got 4.5 down speeds though. Still amazing!
  7. was it me or were the 894 towers on the map just upgraded to yellow? anyone know if they have CSFB installed? i supposed ill find out on the drive to work tomorrow... would explain the lul in service i had early last week over there....
  8. why wouldn't they do it when they set up the site? some of the sites are newly upgraded?
  9. I Agree I got tons of LTE up in Green bay, where i was connected to towers marked, both yellow and green. as was mentioned a few weeks back the tri band phones should be connecting to yellow pinned towers, however there are ton's of yellow pins in Waukesha, where I work, which I have yet to get LTE. which i was under the impression that it all it would take was a software update, so why would they not update it?
  10. are you picking up LTE downtown or on the eastside? the place that I have had the best speeds was when i traveled through fon du lac last week had 5Mbps down.
  11. I didnt ask a question lol. I was responding to what someone had mentioned they were curious as to what people are getting for signal / speeds in downtown Milwaukee and on the upper eastside. If that is not allowed then I apologize.
  12. Since I got my G2 downtown has been inconsistent, anywhere from .75 - 1.5 Mbps down I live a few blocks north of the oriental. I get consistently .75 down however sensorly reports that there should be LTE where i live...
  13. I had EHRPD in Waukesha today. it was like on my journey to and from work the hail interchange was a barrier of sorts where i lost it / gained it. west of the hail interchange I had it, with 1.5 down speeds then east of there was hit with .07 down.
  14. All of the towers in green bay are marked as yellow 3G / 4G and my G2 picked up LTE up there when I got it Friday. I have not picked up LTE in milwaukee or waukesha, I work around sunset and oakdale. Since I got it i have had a lot of EHRPD, however today in milwaukee i have been stuck on 1xRTT. has anyone else been stuck on 1xRTT today?
  15. anyone else on the eastside having intermittent signal problems today? i went from being able to send texts last night, to having text not send / delay...
  16. Today I allowed black friday deals to talk me into upgrading my phone and resigning. I got the LG G2. oh boy what a difference. Started my day in green bay with speeds from 1.17 Mbps down to 2.79 on the not fully officially launched LTE up there. appleton area I hit around .3 Mbps down. The really exciting part was in Fon Du Lac, where the official LTE got me 4.88 Mbps down! I worked out in Waukesha from 3pm till 1130pm tonight I got on average 1.5 Mbps down, from waukesha to the Hail interchange pretty much. from hail to down town averaged speeds at .25 Mbps down. Down town Milwaukee got 2.4, and now on the east side near bradford getting anywhere from .7 - 1.5 down. Im not picking up LTE in Milwaukee or waukesha, in areas mapped on sensorly, or from the towers on the map, but as ive read here thats cause something is up with the tri band phones, ill be looking at that thread sometime soon ish. It amazes me how the switch in phones makes a difference as before I got .02 down where ever I went!
  17. driving, sitting, standing, walking, eating, drinking, jumping, facebooking, any verb really. my speeds are always .05m the most. does anyone know he said that the g4 has decent speeds has anyone else had that success? and what makes the g4 special to get these speeds?
  18. wow! i have been driving past this tower for 3 months not and every time im on it have never gotten more than .06m down. or anywhere in Milwaukee.
  19. On my drive to work saw work being done on the new Berlin water tower off of 43 and moorland. Looked like panels were being installed not sure if this is new news or not, or if its nv or not.
  20. yeah i do have access to the support forums, and the public forums, there are sites marked LTE complete, but are not on. It is what has been reported on these forums. People at most get 10 minutes of LTE after flipping their phone from airplane mode to regular mode. so please don't attack me for restating what has been reported on the forum. I realize you are a moderator, but you are also not in Milwaukee either, so you can't really make the claims either. as it has been stated in this thread. and countless others, just because a tower is marked LTE completed on the sponsors map does not mean that it is broadcasting LTE, sprint is turning it on in clusters. As also has been noted Milwaukee has around 16/80 sites in Milwaukee completed, possibly more, none of which are consistently broadcasting LTE would also point out the statements made by the members who are in madison where it shows most of their towers completed, yet they claim to not receive LTE yet. not complaining, just repeating what has been stated in this, and other threads.
  21. not necessarily true. sensorly shows that along the lake front there should be LTE but there is not. the site also shows that downtown should be receiving wi-max signal, but there is no wi-max signal downtown. Milwaukee does not have LTE so we should not be telling people otherwise. not complaining, just making sure that misinformation is not being spread.
  22. so then that means looking at the completed sites map, it is highly out of date for Milwaukee / madison then if there are some that are complete and some that are still WIP. whats the diffrence between completed and accepted completed? please give me an answer with out trying to insult me. and i am not complaining, just curious.
  23. I can do math, there is no need to insult me. its against forum rules. it also does not answer my question. looking at other areas that have LTE there are still dozens of towers that are listed as 3G. so do all 64 towers need to be upgraded or will some remain 3G also Ive noticed that everywhere i go in Milwaukee i am getting 1xRTT which after googling it, every site that i find says that its not 3G but 2.5G at 60-80 kbps. Why are the towers not broadcasting the 1xEV-DO 3G with the 300-600 kbps speeds? again since i apparently have to post this every time for the trolls on here please give me an answer with out trying to insult me. and i am not complaining, just curious.
  24. then that leads me to my next question and im not sure if i am allowed to post this information, it looks like there are about 80 towers in the Milwaukee / waukesha area, but 16 marked LTE complete, does that mean that all 80 still need to be upgraded? if this info is not allowed here please mods reedit to how it should be, i dont want to get shot for asking a question.
