  1. Ghetto clearly is not a reference to the quality of a network. It has always been a reference to the type of customers the carrier attracts, which is a completely inappropriate term to use.

In your opinion. Not as fact.

Anyways, does anyone have any new information as to what LightSquared and Dish Network plan to do with their squatted spectrum?

Are they going to piggy back on Sprints towers and run their own network gear while technically, not being an MVNO?

Or will the relationship be that Sprint runs their network, and the gear, while Dish and LightSquard reap all the profits??

  2. You really think this is a good post?

    Yes. I do.

Prove me wrong, that an honest opinion is "not right" to say.

What the woman said was absolutely correct. From my personal and working relationships and interactions I can attest that her assessment is 100% correct. ALONG WITH T-MOBILE'S NETWORK IN THE SEATTLE-BURIEN-TUKWILA AREA.

And no, Black English Vernacular is not the whole of the argument either.

  3. AMAZING-- Online/Direct-2-You only (I think)

Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge variants are BOGO Free!

    No longer BOGO/50%...

Make sure to use the $37 dollar unlimited family plan to help you out there too if you need it, offering you a FREE 4th line.

  4. I have a Nexus 5 on the way for use with AT&T as well as an AT&T SIM in hand and an H2O SIM on the way. The AT&T SIM is for testing and came from my wife's employer, and the H2O SIM is for their $10/90 days plan, but now I'm getting nervous that maybe that particular H2O plan isn't LTE compatible. (It doesn't actually say on the website, that I can find.) Any thoughts?

    Thanks. :)

For the AT&T network, I recommend:

    PureTalkUSA

They'll offer AT&T LTE service with Nationwide roaming included.

  5. I have the $100 for two lines Family Unlimited Data Plan with add-on lines at $40.

Would there be any "fine-print" drawbacks?

Like, loss of Unlimited for Life Guarantee?

Less off-network roaming data allotment from the usual 300+Mb of data?

Lower priority on the network? I know that bucket data plans have the highest post-paid priority.

What will I miss out on? Because I can NOT fathom that Sprint will be losing money by giving you 3GB of hotspot data AND lose more money than my current plan.

  6. Called the Unlimited Plus plan, via Sprint.com e-mail offer which includes free Samsung galaxy S 6.

"The latest and greatest from Samsung is here! Enjoy the innovation of Samsung's slimmest, most lightweight device, take epic wide-angle selfies and more.

We'll pay whatever it costs for you to switch to Sprint.

We'll pay off your contract and whatever you owe on your phone via an American Express® Reward Card after online registration, when you switch to Sprint and turn in your current phone.

For only $80/mo., the Unlimited Plus Plan gets you:

    •Unlimited talk, text and high-speed

data while on the Sprint network

•International roaming—including unlimited data, up to 2G speeds, and messaging in select countries

•Plus, you get to upgrade to a new phone every year

  7. IBEZ will be solved SOONER, rather than later.

Which is a good thing. I would have liked for SoftBank to join the fight, because EVERYONE knows that their roaming rates are going to be abysmal with Sprint customers traveling to Mexico.

Is this a raw deal? Your thoughts?

  8. Based on member requests, we will extend this offer through 12 Noon on Saturday, October 18th.

What absolutely poor timing! I just spent $100 dollars on a Videogame yesterday! Grr!

I'm gonna' have to give up Netflix, Audible, and my PS+ membership for the next month to get access to this info!

    Worst timing ever!

Thank you very much for the "special deal." I'm very much going to consider this.

  9. I see way too many 3G only upgrade sites spread out all across the area for a Samsung market this far along. I wonder what local factor contributed to that. In Chicago there were isolated backhaul and permitting issues that had a distinct pattern, usually sites on top of tall buildings and skyscrapers, and other tough locations across the region. It took time, but we were starting with leftover 3G only sites in the dozens, looks like here there are 100 or more. Curious as to why.

There is 2.5Ghx being blanketing Seattle. Do you have a 1900Mhz only device? If so, your missing out on LTE. Westwood Village is a good example.
  10. I don't see the conflict between these two thoughts. The EVO popularity drew a lot of people to Sprint and likely had a significant impact on Sprint's 3G network in the long run. Also, Ericsson's Network Management is notorious for being mismanaged and underfunded. They deserve the bad wrap they get. They absolutely have their fingerprints all over Sprint's network woes. Not the only cause, but undeniably a part of the problem.

When is Erricsons 7 year management contract up?
