Shouldn't it say extended network if it was roaming on T-Mobile?
-
Where exactly do I look? It's now back to bad signal
-
I'm curious on this too. How do i look this up? My house is always terrible reception for sprint, but today I'm getting full signal. And only carrier here that's full signal is T-Mobile...

Why is everyone freaking out over delivery.sprint.com so badly? The domain has been around forever for Sprint internal marketing stuff. For example, it hosts the EPRP signup page, too.
http://delivery.sprint.com/m/p/nxt/epc/epclanding.asp
And used to host the discount verification page.
what code and email do I use?

oh yeah! I'm gonna love this!
East Peoria, Downtown Peoria, and Morton have Sprint Spark. Most of these speedtest were done at the Kholes Parking lot

It is now. Lol
I am not sure if this was already a topic or not but I want to get everyone's opinion if you guys think that the next iPhone will be compatible with Sprint Spark or not? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does anyone know a timeframe yet when Sprint spark will be in Peoria IL. Area?
-
Check to see if any permits for "2.5 equipment deployment" are out there at the local level.
That's a good starting point.
How do I do that?
-
What timeframe do you think sprint spark will come to the Peoria IL. area?
-
Ok. Thanks
The iPhone will not search out CDMA 800 unless it has absolutely zero signal on 1900. There is no way around this except to install a custom PRL. Which involves jailbreaking. But also, there is no guarantee that the 800 is even live. 800 signals still come and go in the early stage. Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

I have the iphone 5. supposedly this tower at a place where I'm at has 800 band now, but dont get no reception in basement. how do I get my phone to get the 800 band?

Finally getting 4G at my home in Creve Coeur! Did not have it yesterday. 10 download and 3 upload is a lot better than .1 download and .08 upload
-
I don't have wifi at home or lte outside that's why I want 4G at home. Lol. Plus I use my phone for everything seeing I'm broke and have no computer. :-/. That's what makes it frustrating. I'm just gonna hold out for now. Can't afford the big red... Thanks for all the info on here about sprint. Gotta say it's been real helpful
-
Thanks Robert! You're always very helpful. Thanks for the info. I guess I'll wait it out a few more months.
There are already quite a few LTE sites live around the Peoria area. Haven't you used them, yet? It should be evidence that the upgrade is occurring.Samsung has pretty much finished all the physical upgrades to the network in the Peoria area. However, the LTE can only be turned on at each site as high speed internet backhaul arrives and is connected. So the remaining sites around Peoria will come online one at a time over the next 6 months or so.Sprint is a mobile wireless service. It is not a home ISP. Most of us don't use LTE in our home, we use WiFi. We use LTE where we go. I personally don't care if my home has LTE, I just need a strong voice signal at home. But ideally, I would like LTE from my driveway and the places I go from there. And maybe that's what you mean when you say you want LTE at home. If you are only looking to use Sprint unlimited because you want to use it at home, let me be the first to encourage you to switch providers.I think you can expect to have a pretty consistent coverage area around Peoria within 6 months. Especially if you have a device that supports Band 26 by then.Robert via Samsung Note 8.0 using Tapatalk Pro

will be Sprint really be as good as what they say they will be? for years theyve been telling me that they are updating towers with speeds sometimes like 0.02 download and 0.01 upload sometimes I wonder and they started lte around here but for months theres been no progress and no lte at home but lte 10 minutes away... I'm just wondering rather to stick it out anymore... unlimited does me no good if I cant use internet...
-
anyone have inside information when Peoria IL. area become LTE complete? no progress past month or so it seems
-
I'm just waiting for the Peoria IL. to become LTE live? they've been working on 4G for a few months. not really any progress lately... :-/

Everyone ok from Washington IL.?
Sprint fared well in the tornado in Washington. I'm about 5 miles North and actually switched over to the towers in Washington for a while right after the storm as my local tower at Lords road and 116 went down and still was down this morning when I left for work. The rest of Sunday I was on towers in North Peoria and Chillcothe. However on the way to work in I pass near the Washington towers on Cummmnigs Lane and switched to it with 4G. I didn't make a call but it showed up as the tower I was connected to.I talked with several first responders on the scene and they reported no cell service but after talking with them it sounded more like overloaded towers more than no service. Text messages would go through eventually and voice service was very spotty but their phones didn't actually show no service.

I just wish 4G and NV would hurry here. still getting dropped calls and slow internet in places

didn't realize how much I check out network vision updates on here. lol. guess I really am addicted to s4gru

Dear S4GRU Members:
I wanted to drop you a line and let you know my availability is going to be much more limited over the next 4-6 weeks. I have accepted a new position and will be moving from New Mexico and relocating my family to the Rapid City, South Dakota area.
I am going to be doing a lot of travelling in this period, going back and forth between New Mexico and South Dakota. I start work on Monday, but will be coming home on the weekends until I we move in Mid October. I also have to go to Phoenix for orientation. I will not be available very often to respond to posts or to messages/e-mails. I am going to be very dependent on our Staff during this transition period.
Sadly, after the move, I will be outside of Sprint service. So I will not be able to keep Sprint as my primary wireless carrier. I will maintain one line for the times when I leave the area and get back into Sprint coverage. I'm still deciding on a Triband device. But this will not have any impact on S4GRU.
I would greatly appreciate your help during this time. Help answering questions posed by members in public threads. Help directing member inquiries to the right thread or to the right staff member. Help by not burdening me with lots of posts and messages. And turning to our staff in public posts and sending messages directly to them first with your questions. I will swing by in the evenings or while waiting in airports to add another voice to the chorus.
Also, please respect my privacy. I no longer feel that I can disclose many personal details like I used to and I will not be answering personal questions about my relocation or new job.
I am really looking forward to settling in Western South Dakota. I believe the Black Hills is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in this country. And I am looking forward to being able to breathe again. I have severe allergies here that can sometimes even be life threatening.
I am thankful to have such a great group of guys (and now even a few ladies) to have such a great community with. I am grateful for all that you put into S4GRU, through your participation in posting and financial support. S4GRU is now in a position that I can take a step back and our members, sponsors and staff can run with the ball for a little while.
Thanks for all you do!
My Best to all of you...
Robert

The question is can I use this as unlimited or is this considered roaming? Normally if I'm out of range it'll say extended network... In this case it doesn't. I'm just curious what sprint will see it as
