Works a helluva lot better than it did a few weeks ago when they first turned it on. My phone connected to it and wouldn't let go. I couldn't do a damn thing online unless I switched to WiFi.Makes sense. How is L800 holding up performance-wise? There aren’t many other cases of 3x3 LTE deployed in big cities...
I spend most of the day on 25 or 41, but when it does switch to b26 the connection is definitely usable.

I work in the Civica building in Bellevue (the tower above Seastar), the same block as the Key Bank building. In downtown?
L800 is only live on the site at the Key Bank building on 4th street.
We’re still waiting on the site on the Apptio building, the site covering the north side of Bellevue Square as well as all five Clear sites downtown.

B26 is working in Bellevue now. I can actually use my phone in the deep recesses of my building's parking garage.

Other than the stretch on Bothell Everett hwy, most only last for a few moments. The roaming by QFC was on 124th, right at the QFC. I was sitting at the light this morning and noticed the phone was roaming on b66. I think I was back on Sprint by the time I hit the freeway. Just interesting seeing these things happening that I haven't noticed previously.
That’s also interesting considering Sprint covers 527 with LTE pretty well...
Handoff and roaming parameters/thresholds are probably still be worked out. Good thing T-Mobile roaming counts as on-network usage.

Seeing lots of roaming spots today that show as Clearwire.

Yesterday the phone was stuck on B26 most of the day here in Bellevue. Haven't seen it come up once today.

25^2 1x is -95 LTE is -111
As I'm staring at the Key Bank building right now, L800 is -73 dbm 31asu. Usually I see mid 90's to low 100's here with 25 and 41.

Opposite corner of the block my building is on. Nice to see, just annoying it's not usable yet. Reminds me of old 3G connections and nothing loads unless I'm on WiFi or the phone finds 25 or 41.

B26 here in Bellevue. Can't connect to anything unless in WiFi though.

This just popped up in Bellevue. Can't connect to anything, but it's showing up now.

I'll be damned. This just popped up in the Juanita area of Kirkland.

Mostly between Juanita and Willows, the length of 124th. I used to get b41 fairly regularly around my apartment, but not for a long time.Funny you should say that for I am rarely not on B41 in Kirkland. Where around Kirkland do you do most of your usage?

Lol, I don't remember the last time I saw b41 in Kirkland.

Makes sense. This particular site always had a great WiMax signal back in the day. Most of the original B41 coverage was provided by Clear. Those sites are just beginning to be decommissioned. So just about every Clear site that went live with B41 originally is still live, so you will still be picking those up, mixed in with the new Sprint B41 sites.
Thanks.

1) Sprint nationwide has 2 Band 41 carriers up with a 3rd starting to now being spotted. No markets have more than 3 and it's meant to be that way for now until High Capacity 2.5 sites are configured (more than 3 Band 41 carriers require split sectors).
2) Standard Band 8T8R Band 41 setup = 3 contiguous Band 41 carriers. High Capacity = up to 6 carriers in total preferably adjacent. HC 2.5 is not yet deployed.
3) Backhaul or Clearwire. You're in a Huawei Clearwire market. Those sites are not capable of a 2nd 20 MHz Band 41 carrier and Sprint is decomissioning them starting this year so it is what it is for those 7 year old equipment.
Could point #3 be why a site would still show as a Clearwire site, while others in the same area show as Sprint or Sprint B42^2?
I live in the Juanita area of Kirkland, and right near the Beach I get Clear 41, but a couple blocks north it turns into Sprint 41 or 41^2. Not a big deal, just curious.

What is sprint direct connect???? I have heard about it, but really not much else other than the name.
It's basically a walkie talkie with an extraordinarily annoying chirp. It's offered on some feature phones (the Dura series from Kyocera), built in to a couple of Android devices (Torque and the TorqueXT), and is available as a stand alone app for most newer Android devices.

The map lies. Lol.
Shows my area (zip 98034) bathed in bright yellow, but b41 signals are pretty rare at this point.
-
I occasionally pick up a B41 signal from the site closest to my house in Juanita, Kirkland. The phone shows B41, but signal bars are basically non-existant.

Thanks. The latest update was a good one.
It looks like most of the remaining work in Western Washington is in downtown Seattle and the Capitol Hill/Central District areas. When the 3G sites have all switched on Band 25, and Band 41 is all up and running, it looks the Seattle metropolitan area (from Fort Lewis to the south, to Everett to the north, including the I-405 corridor), will absolutely be awash in 4G, even without Band 26.
For the B41 work, do they need to go through the permitting process again in Western WA?
