I've updated the PRL through the phone, but no difference. I'm also on Virgin Mobile, so I believe I can't roam anyway. How can I update the PRL list to something that allows 800?

I've noticed the LTE coverage improve dramatically since I joined this site last year, its great to see LTE nearly everywhere I go (except my house! it'll get there eventually). I saw that 800 was turned on this week, however I'm not seeing it on my phone (galaxy s3) anywhere in the hartford area. I work at Hartford Hospital and live in West Hartford, so I'm always traveling around this side of the river. I swear I've seen 800 before on my phone when they were testing. Am I missing something?

What is the 800MHz signal that everyone is so excited about? It's nice to see all of the LTE sites coming online. Of course, where I live in West Hartford (bishops corner) and where I work in Hartford (Hartford Hospital) don't have any 4G, but it will get here soon

I'm working over at the Institute of Living (next to Hartford Hospital) with a Galaxy S3. I have no service at my desk! I usually have at least 1 bar, sometimes more, but today no signal. I thought maybe Virgin Mobile messed up my monthly billing, but I see other people are encountering problems. I've also heard that VM does not roam. What's going on with Sprint's signal in Hartford?

Well, actually i am on wifi at my house. But... in the street, I do get 3G speeds. Sometimes up to 1-2Mbps.

Any updates on the 4G rollout in greater Hartford? I also recently bought a Virgin Mobile 4G LTE phone, but of course I can only use 3G speeds where I live in West Hartford. I see on the Sprint network website about "data capacity" and "data speed" upgrades at the towers near my house. Are these upgrades related to 3G or 4G?
