Just got done at the fair, and I had pretty good luck with data (uploading on Facebook, sending picture messages, etc.), and only when I was near the Indian 1800's area East of the Midway, I had a hiccup there. The Sprint vendor at the Varied Industries Building said there is a COW but he didn't know where it was. I only saw a U.S. Cellular one (go figure). -
I have had great LTE experiences in Des Moines for the most part. I can get LTE for the most part (except in Dillard's, where I'm glad they have Wi-Fi because service in there is unbearable for calling, even!) at Jordan Creek, and I know the airport has height restrictions on their towers, so I get so-so data speeds at work (they are better than they have been!). I know Sprint has bandwith limits set for Des Moines, because I can pull MAYBE 10MB down at the most during the day, and when I'm up in Boone or Ames, I flirt with 30MB down. But really, I don't need more than 10MB down, so I'm okay with that. Overall, I'm happy I'm with Sprint still, and I use the iPhone 5S (i sold the HTC M7, as I know it wasn't the greatest LTE phone...), and are patiently waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Note IV to come out...but then again, both Apple and Samsung are featuring their respective press releases on the phones next month, so I'll see what happens!

Two weeks in and I still bounce between the LTE tower that's South of me and the 3G tower (which works better than the LTE tower). Any updates on the Ingersoll Ave./University Ave. area near I-235 and Drake (Woodland Heights neighborhood)? Please let me know! Thank you!

I have this personal thing where if I'm paying $200 for two lines of service, I'm going to use the hell out of Sprint unlimited data. I've used almost 5GB so far this month, and i'm only ten days into my billing cycle. I do have Wifi at home, but LTE is nice for when my partner is hogging bandwith by downloading stuff on his PlayStations...

I just want to let everyone know that I am getting LTE inside my house, and it seems to be working okay. I can get about 5-6MB max down, but hopefully when all the equipment on that tower and turn on the other 3G tower near my house, it'll be great! I wish Apple would not restrict downloads more than 50MB on the iPhone 5S, despite data being unlimited for Sprint.

I happen to be coming home and I noticed that I'm getting LTE inside my house! Thought I'd never see the day. I wasn't getting the highest of speeds, and I know they probably have more work to do, but at least they're turning on the towers in my neck of the woods! I know I'm not a sponsor, but I would like to say this tower is near 28th and Ingersoll, and I kept an eye on the phone until I was outside my house, and then it shifted back to 3G, but it keeps bouncing in between the LTE tower and the 3G ones...kind of nice, I think. Here's some pictures!

I'm still alive! Happy New Year! Now, has anyone driven on Fleur Drive and notice it briefly connect to LTE? It could possibly be the tower over on 14th Street, but it's never done that before...I have a screenshot below:

I was sooo happy today. Despite the large amount of crowds at Jordan Creek today, my data was working almost flawlessly! That NEVER happens! It is an 800 tower, but hopefully the days of wondering if your data will work there will soon be over

I am in Chicagoland right now, and with the 4G LTE towers we have come across, me and my partner's HTC One phones are only showing one bar with 4G, but when we go to make a call, it goes to full bars, but when we end the call, it goes back down to one. Does anyone else's HTC device do this? The sites in Des Moines and the ones I came across in Davenport do it as well.

Sweet! I have to wrap presents tonight, but I'm gonna grab my partner and go LTE hunting!!! I had him check at the house to see if we had LTE (I live Southeast of Beaverdale), and nothing...so we're gonna go and find it!
