  1. In Folsom this weekend and had some 4G. On Sutter St. it was about 15 megs down. At the Palladio Mall it was only about 3 megs.
  2. Had LTE this morning on 50 from Mather Field to about Bradshaw. That's a first for me. I'm hoping that I'll get some 4G love out in Stone Creek (International and Kilgore) after they fire all the Rancho towers up.
  3. Hi all. Did I read somewhere in this thread that if I make a PRL change or something I can trick my Note 2 into LTE only mode in Sacramento? I think I would loose voice, but data would work? Thanks!
  4. Got the text as well... I did have a bit of LTE yesterday out by the wrecking yards in Rancho. I let Sensorly capture it, so there is now another little purple spot. lol..
  5. Well, it went away! Lol. I go my shoes on after swimming to do a sensorly run, and the signal was gone. Oh well. They are working on something.
  6. 4G from my backyard for the first time! In Rancho near Kilgore and International. Only 3 megs down, but progress!
  7. My Note 2 has a 2000 PRL also. I've read that across the nation people are complaining about this PRL. I'm rooted, so I could switch, but I've seen a difference really when switching. (Except in Chilis in Rancho) I also read this from someone that knows about these things, "PRLs have no affect on LTE speeds. The only time a PRL will affect LTE speeds is if you write one that has no enabler record for your area and that will prevent your phone from connecting to LTE. So in layman's terms all there is an on/off switch in the PRL for LTE, nothing more."
  8. Well I drove around Rancho, south of 50 after work with Sensorly, and not even a blip of 4G, I guess they are just getting stuff ready for us. techiegirl, It's funny that you know what I am talking about at Chili's. It is so embarrassing for Sprint. I wish I could find a Sprint exec. and have them explain why there is no signal in the hub of new Rancho.
  9. Had some 4G teases in Rancho around Zinfandel and 50. About time! I've had a WIMAX or LTE phone since they first came out and have never seen anything before. The signal was weak, but just to see the 4G logo got me excited. I'm hoping the signal will get into Chili's or Cordova Casino. Currently I have pretty much NO signal. The phone just goes in and out of roaming, voice and data, but neither works. I'm usually having to tether on my friends Verizon phones. Lame! I'll so some Sensorly drives and see if I can gather a bit more data.
