When we called for airave we were told no work was ongoing in Fresno and if we wanted one we had to pay $250.

 

Went up the ladder three levels and same story.

I just Got off the Phone with Sprint Yesterday & got $25 off my bill for the Next 4 Months all due to the Fact that 4G is being installed & was told that it should be up & running in the next 2 weeks to 90 days yet was told that it should happen sooner than later so lets hope that it happens by the 31st like I was told before that would a Great Halloween for me =} so those that want to get in on the deal & are having issues with slow speeds & want to take advantage of Free money off your Bill the call & talk with Account Services & ask them for this Great Deal hear is a Back door # 866 556 7310

Reps have a huge incentive to make you happy, even if it means lying. Theres almost no system in place to create a consequence for lying to the customer.

@nextel49. I spoke to tech support and she told me that there's upgrades scheduled in bakersfield in October and will take 3-4 months to complete so hopefully the towers we use will be worked on first lol.

The Guy I talked with is in the higher up departments & he read me the email stating that it should be done by the end of Oct to early Nov hope this helps you work is going now my speeds are just crap unless I am home & using my Airave getting some better speed than when I go outside

Well I just got off the phone with Sprint Account Services & was happy to hear that That guy From Sacramento Just got an mass email saying that we should have LTE here at the End of Oct Early Nov man I have been waiting what seems like forever to have killer speeds here & get off these slow 3G speed just made my night

I did not try the 703 number but tried two others

 

they said "the airave promotion is over"

 

I was also promissed a call back by a supervisor.

 

It will be no shock to anyone familiar with Sprint CS that no call back was ever received.

TRY THE 703 # & where do you live also does it show on Sprint coverage map that you are in a dead zone or off the network? & or do live in a pocket that Sprints towers don`t seem to get to you?

I tried the "back door" the first number, they said they now cost large sums of money

did they tell you why you can not get an Airave & did you try to call the second #?

Spoke to three levels of airave support today, all said they cant give us an airave.

It will take a year to deploy the whole area with LTE. Individual sites should start to go online in Fresno by the end of this month/early September. Bakersfield should start going live with LTE sometime this month or as late as next month. 2 of the 4 sites in Visalia have already received their new panels and RRU's. 1 site is waiting for backhaul work to start, not sure about the other one though.

Work should be starting in the Fresno area within the next month. Work will continue on to early next year with final completion around the summer time.

Very Sad News to hear that Fresno will take another year to get 4G so then looks like Bakersfield will be still not be getting any faster than Fresno

OK where is this Tower in Bakersfield? I did see this afternoon someone working on a tower yet did see who's there were 3 towers next to each other & have no clue if Sprint was 1 of them if any knows if it was Sprint please let me know thanx the street I saw it on was off of  Brundage

Have a family member wanting to leave the sprint train because for the past 2 weeks shes been dropping every other call. I recommended she call for an airave.

 

Was told theyre not free and theyre not in stock.

Any more News on tower upgrade's here in Bakersfield really tired of 3G slow speeds thanx

Awesome to see the upgrade. I don't know if this means anything but my data kept turning on and off throughout the day yesterday. Not sure if they were upgrading this tower but the 3G speed seems a little faster. I'm on white lane and stine

I am not to far from you I am on Stockdale & No Stine & have not seen anything on my phone yet maybe they were fixing the tower for being down

OK Men I have Been waiting for 4G since Spint Launched it for Wimax & I really am looking for a date on when it will launch here for Bakersfield CA all we have is one tower for WiMax & its only here because it had to be put up yet I have been using my WiFi forever & really want some LTE here any clue as to what the date is to be lanched I know I have read some of the post yet I am looking for more of the date because 3G is just killing me & LTE would be so sweet to use have not gone to LA yet to see how Nice it is there also Video Chat sux on 3G as maney of you might know well if anyone has any better News on when it will be on that would very helpful thanx
