just got the same text some of you got today lets see if it turns on again just some towers being done in the far east side of Bakersfield on Auburn & Fairfax don't know if this is our tower or not it is made to look like a tree

did not have the app downloaded if it comes on again I will post it think they where just testing it have not had any better luck with it on yet

Robert got the text. In South Dakota. Where there is no Sprint Network. And he has his billing address listed there too. So, don't read into it. Just something to keep people hopefully, even if falsely. Hopefully the lower central valley market can see a little more movement soon.

 

I think I saw some LTE signals in Bakersfield? Was that real?

Live off of Stockdale Hwy & No Stine Rd would like to see this again tomorrow or the next day hopefully not just tease me all day The New Sprint Store on Gosford Rd keeps getting 4G & messes with all of there activations so would be nice

Even PR/VI which was the fastet moving market isnt fully done with LTE yet (even though its NV done)

 

I wouldnt expect Bakersfield to be 100% done for many months, or even until next year, and nor should anyone here.

Was told that a 1/3 of the towers should be turned on by the 4th will know once I see it up & running

Just got off the phone with Sprint Corporate & was told the all towers in Bakersfield have an end date of being upgraded on Feb 4th & 4G LTE should be on the same day or on the 5th can not wait to see it happen will post pix once I see it on my phone

I'm from Delano California and just to let everyone know Delano has 4G LTE now since maybe 2 weeks now. So if everything is going the way I think it is, McFarland should be next than maybe Wasco and Shafter and then Bakersfield. Everything north of Delano, Pixley, Tipton, and Visalia have 4G. I've been following this website for some weeks now and I just decided to join the website to give some updates myself

Josh what PRL Version are you on I am still on 55017 on my Photon Q & I was just in Delano this past weekend & noting came up with 800 yet only 1XRTT still showed

Got some Sad News but yet good news looks like we get 4G LTE on Feb 4th because of the New upgrades will like to see it now but what can anyone do but do the hurry up & wait game

YA Maricopa is in Kern Co a little before Taft & I know when I ever drive out there signal is almost always bad until you get into Taft Sprint has not many towers there or in Lake Isabella for that matter or alot of the places that don't get the upgrades was told that all 4G towers are up last tower should be done on the 27th & running LTE & this is from Sprint Account Services showing all of them up

Well I got off the phone with the Account Service team & the Rep said that all of the Tower's for 4G are up & they are working on the last one & that it should be done on the 27th keep going over to have my phone played with & the New Sprint Store on Gosford while 4G keeps going on & off just wish they would keep it on 2 mins is just not long enough play on 4G so those that live here in Bako this is for us just want to have it on now to really enjoy it

I was referring to you getting over 1.0 mbps...that is good for 3G.

At my house here in the outskirts of Sacramento, my consistent speeds might hit 0.50 down, 0.17 up. Your speeds are pretty good for 3G. ;-)

Well that is way better than me I only get those speeds when it is Midnight than I go back down to 0.09-0.23

No LTE for Bakersfield but do notice that it is faster than before so I there is hope that LTE will come soon

where in Town do you show better 3G anywhere here in town I would Luv to see some of those speeds anywhere I live right off of Stockdale Hwy & No Stine even with my airvana I still get slow speeds rarely do I see anything hit past 1.02mps -1.09mps those speeds are sad & drains my phone way to fast hell it takes 3 mins just to run anything from youtube or facebook on all my lines 

I know you are massively disappointed. The only thing that I think could be causing any delays is backhaul work. Remember, the backhaul providers could be stalling on purpose just to make things difficult. I know BrightHouse is in Bakersfield. Who else?

Bright House is the only Cable company for Bakersfield yet as far as the rest of Kern Co there is Verizon up in Lake Isabella & the rest of the out skirts of town so as of anyone else there is no one Bright house bought them all out

Well Great that I see Fresno & Tulare to get 4G LTE & still can't see why Bakersfield is still not getting any love. Sad news for the Holiday's. Really need 4G speeds vs this slow Speeds we get with 3G yet I keep seeing them work on towers & still not even a blip of 4G anywhere. I have heard from the new Sprint store the see it come up when in testing the 4G & yet I have yet to see anything pretty sad News for us here in Bakersfield home of 358 thousand people & no love as of yet

Getting the worst Speed here again in Bakersfield & getting told they will look into it. [They] won't give enough of the answers I am looking for so now all they enjoy giving me is discounts to help witht the slow speeds. hope someone has better news. on when I have been with Sprint for 7 years & the internet has never been any better now matter what phone I had unless I root the phone to tweak it myself then I which [would get my speeds]  almost get up to 2mps

I found this yesterday when i picked up my girlfriend.It's the first time I've seen 4G on my phone.It's right when you just get into Atwater.
