  1. Good!! I can't wait until my router arrives that is wifi 6...I'm not sure on the exact date, but should be the next week or so. I'll be getting a sneak-peak at one of the first consumer-grade routers certified for wifi 6 and also mesh wifi from a well-known company in networking equipment.

The only thing I questioned on the specs that we were disclosed about was the requirement of internet speed to be AT LEAST 50mbps in order to function properly.
I actually received an email from the person managing the trial that asked specifically for my internet speed, and that  I needed to have at least 50mbps for this router to perform properly.
Most recent speed test gave me 128mbps down, 141mbps up...so I might be ok.

  2. It's pretty clear that a good number of Galaxy owners still want the headphone jack.  Samsung can guarantee they will get additional device sales next year if they choose to keep it on the Galaxy S Family.  I still prefer my older headphones/earbuds that are wired to any bluetooth models I've tried.  I have the Galaxy Buds and while they are okay, my Shure iEM's sound superior in every way.
I haven't used wire in a long time. I prefer bt!

  3. At this point I'm convinced Sprint has no plans of bringing volte to the S9 unless the merger happens.

Yes, very odd about the s9 series.

I'm wondering if they find out about the data drops on the s10 with the volte updates and holding off until all the s10 models are fixed.

  4. The last year and next of capex was enough to get the network usable enough to give them value going forward as an asset for sale, and enough runway to carry them through to the merge. They will ride these and current planned and paid for upgrades into integration. Beyond that is putting up gear to move it or take it down.

If you expect a big expansion or are rooting for Sprint to change some behavior that may give them some chance or x benefit then you aren't paying attention. All the big pieces or assets have a planned division and distribution among players. We are now at the part of the garage sale where we decide if the left over used books are worth $.50 or just take them off our hands because the kids are tired and we have to cook dinner yet.

  5. As I understand it, if Softbank wanted to put an extra 5 Billion Dollars in Sprint, they would also have to buy up the remaining shares of Sprint stock they did not already own.  How much would it actually cost to add/upgrade enough towers, add/upgrade backhaul, and acquire enough low band to have a network anywhere near the networks of the big two?
Is this just speculation or what?
