  1. can anybody please tell me how do I set my Galaxy Note II to LTE only?
  2. jajajajaja well let your wife know that I also own two iPhone 5's, the Note 2 is my backup phone or testing phone if you will. So I guess I have a chance to still live on this world.
  3. Have any of you guys tried the Optimus G? I currently own a Note 2 but was thinking about switching. What's your opinion?
  4. Robert: What's going on in PR? Why no completed sites the last couple of weeks? Has worked stopped?
  5. Robert quick question, once the PR market is 100% LTE complete does that mean we will always get an LTE signal no matter where we are located in PR?
  6. I was connected today to site PR60XC273 in Caguas that is marked as 4G complete and net monitor showed that I was connected LTE to that site, but a minute later it dropped to 3G still connected to that site. How can this happen? if I am still connected to the same antenna. Any ideas????????
  7. That's one of the sites I was talking about a few days ago. But it's not powered on yet
  8. As I was driving again today from route 66 to carolina there is no data coverage, and I also got to see the sprint crew working on top of a building in Isla Verde on the marginal road.
  9. Yep, I was reading at another site and pretty much everybody in a major city in USA hates us right now!
  10. Yes there is a site on top of that building, apparently they were doing and upgrade and installing the LTE equipment.
  11. A friend of mine that lives in Fontana Towers in Carolina right on the main highway called me this morning to tell me Sprint workers were there unloading some boxes that said Sprint, Samsung and LTE. He asked them and they said they were updating the system and installing new equipment today. I Belive this antenna covers the area of Monserate Ave and Plaza Carolina. This sighting abd the one yeaterday in Isla Verde confirms that work has started in Carolina area.Ill keep you posted with new info.
  12. This morning as I was leaving Panaderia España in Isla Verde, I noticed a few blocks down on that same street there was a Sprint crew unloading equipment onto a site that's on top of a business located right before the bridge. Hopefully we should start seeing more work done in Carolina. Where the coverage is totally non working.
  13. eHRPD in Rio Grande started working tonight. Improved coverage and seeing 1.5Mb down.
  14. I'm sorry to tell you this is not a rumor. Verizon paid for Opens LTE network. And they are requiring Open a handful of customers on postpaid plans before the do anything else here.
  15. Verizon invested millions on Opens LTE network, so that they could provide their customers with data roaming in Puerto Rico. Why do you think Open suddenly started requiring two year contracts, using Verizon's same equipment and double data promotions.
  16. Something was being done and it was called WiMax to fix slow data, but Sprint decided to go another route and started the network vision project. As far as customer service goes in all companies you call yo complain they tell you something is being done and nothing ever happens, here we have a 100% network overhaul. And BELIVE me when I tell you, your contract will be up and and AT&T and Verizon (that will be here next year) will still be metering their data plans.
