  1. Thank you so much. I just broke down and called them as well. I will wait it out. I still have data so not that big of a deal. Awesome phone so far.
  2. MY s5 won't go through the hands free activation. Are there any fixes for this or should sprint be able to do it manually. I can still make calls and receive calls and I have data.
  3. Thank you. I could not find the spec sheet anywhere. Evidentally my searching skills are not that great. I really appreciate it!
  4. Does the S5 have an FM radio built in or is there any new phone on sprint that does?
  5. This would potentially only affect the one tower then? If when I go home or another part of town, I may get signal back if I pull from another tower/antenna?
  6. Thank you. I was confused because 3g was working but horribly slow.
  7. I am in OKC and lately I have been getting the 4g icon but no data service. Does this mean the towers are being worked on. When I go into the LTE engineering screen, I see signal strengths of about -105. The only way I can get Data back is to change it to CDMA only.
  8. I had connection last night in my house but at work at May/Memorial area, it will not connect to 4g. I get really bad 3g speeds but I figure that is due to poor building penetration. I hope they are turning LTE on and off. It is really good when I have it.
  9. Got a 4g signal at my house today in far west Edmond, almost at county line. Can't get it again but it was about 10 down. I mapped it on sensory I think. I am outing the county so I didn't think I would ever see it at home sent from a pebble blue beast
  10. I am so sorry, my post was not that coherent. I was referring to the WISP model number? they will be pointed in 2 separate directions and probably not near each other, depends on the LOS I can get.
  11. Sorry, looking at getting the stuff to get this set up now. I am not sure of the brand/model. Is there any way to see without short of emailing the Company? How close does the LOS have to be? For example if I can aim it, am I ok or do I need a special aiming device like they do with Satellite dishes? Also, how important is elevation and tree leaves? At the other end, I will just hook my new router to it?
  12. My wiiu is still in the box no time to play yt but can't wait. sent from a pebble blue beast
  13. Currently I have a wife network at my house. I am trying to extend wifi to the barn which is probably 2000ish feet away. Eventually I want to put in an ipcam and be able to view it on the same network. Plus wifi in the barn would be cool. We use a wisp as we are interested eh country so the Internet comes to me from a microwave tower to a receiver on my roof. This then comes to a little box on my wall which feeds the router. I wish I knew more about the wisp. The house is brick wood frame and the barn is your typical metal barn. There is a direct line of sight. I am not sure what else u might need. I have a little knowledge in networking but not too much. sent from a pebble blue beast on tapa talk.
  14. Digi, I see you around here a lot. I have been lurking for a long time. Because I am not too sure about all the Ubi equipment, can you tell me what I would need in order to set this up? I am fairly handy, just not sure on the technology piece. I haven't ordered anything yet.
  15. Thank you. I think I will go with the E2500 Can't beat the price. What kind of range do you think I will be looking at as a repeater? I checked out Ubiquiti's products and they seem a little advanced for me right me right now. I think I can get dd-wrt on the router pretty painlessly. Ubiquiti's products may be good for the future though if we decide to move to a larger property.
  16. I found a nice refurb E2500 on cisco's website which I am thinking about getting coupled with an IP Cam. Any suggestions if not the Cisco? I like cheap but I also want as much distance as I can get out of it.
  17. Thank you so much. It looks like that may be an option. I had looked into the DD-wrt before but never actually installed it. The video is probably a better idea at that distance which is probably only approaching 2-3K ft. I will look into this.
  18. That is actually what I am looking at now. it might be an easier option that trying to range extend however I would have thought, based upon my little understanding of radio waves, is that I could just put some sort of repeater however I don't think that will work
  19. Thats what I was worried about. We would like to be able to be in the backyard and potentially out to the barn. I knew 2000 was a pipe dream but hoping that there is something that can help out. Thanks for your input!
  20. So, my wife and I are currently going to have our first child. We are fairly active outside and would like to remain so. We live on a 5 acre property in the county. What I want to know is how complicated would it be to attempt to extend the range on a baby monitor? The most common I see is 1000 ft which isn't that far and I know that real world is different than advertised. They do have one that does 2000 ft as well. I saw some stuff online about using foil and such but I can't imagine that it would be that useful. It looks like the one we are looking at operates on the 900 mhz range. Anyone have any suggestions.
  21. Robert, maybe I missed this but do you know why they are completing Ardmore, OK but not any of the bigger cities here in OK?
