the tower at Hubbell and Broadway has went to 1X800 now.  between Des Moines and Altoona but not the one above on NE64th.

went on my weekly trip to Bondurant for pizza and my signal check pro showed me 1X800 from the new tower on hwy 65 just north of Bondurant but i was getting NO data! speedtest gave me a no network communication indication.  i'm betting it is in transition to be fully operational, but put it on your map. 

there are 3 LTE sites in the central iowa market. unless someone out in the field finds it and posts about it you have to be a sponsor to see the maps to see where it is. dems da rulez

i understand, wish i wasn't so cheap but i am on a fixed income so i have to be. 

do we have a 3rd LE site on now???   if so where is it?

i will add that i did stop by the tower on lower beaver where everything is installed and there was someone there working and it looked like the sprint cabinets where open. i didn't stop though cause i didn't want my b-bops to get cold

just saw your edit, yep 2 4G accepted towers in the central iowa market. the new one was in fort dodge.

I only run Sensorly when I want to map something, report only on wifi, I do not allow it to run on it's own, and only when plugged into a charger. It does use a lot of battery if you do not follow those steps, but I still think it is a very useful app and would recommend it to others that want to help build the accurate coverage maps since Sprint's, and most other carriers', maps are not all that reliable. 

OK, i am giving it another try, i put it back in and made some setting changes.  i could get used to it, we are pushing here to get the LTE lit up so any network info is handy.

You might get "lost" in a dark alley if you say that too loudly around here

Sensorly might be useful after it gets years of feedback and the networks settle into a normalcy but right as everything is changing so rapidly it is useless.  in weak data areas it ties up the phone data trying to report home, even after setting it to call home only on wi-fi it still uses alot of battery power.  signal check is handy and on is on when i start it and gives good info on site status.

i just checked the towers in the northeast area and Fisher Price Chatter phone says NO LTE!   :( :( :( :(

i see another LTE site accepted --- does that mean we have 2 now??

hmmmm,   i am going back over there then and check again, the closest tower to the east mixmaster is at 58th and Delaware.

i was at the east mixmaster and in Altoona and up past the tower at 58th and Delaware and no LTE 

Now it is 12.7 mbps!!!! Woo hoo

At se14th and hartford with LTE!!!!! 6.6 mbps download, Fisher Price never went this fast!

nice to know that I was not the only one that was out at 3 in the morning looking for LTE, but I did not find any on the east side. and I went by the Eastside library. maybe I need to pull tighter on the string.

I saw workers on the tower on the north side of Bondurant on SUNDAY!!! Hope this means they are in a push to get LTE going

no 4G showing up yet on the northeast side either, i am getting eHRPD but the 3G is much slower, -1kb download speed

there is no Sprint tower at Delaware and Broadway.  there is one farther north on Delaware around ne58th. a new one at broadway would be great, closer to me, but then again i'm only sending smoke signals
