  1. Guys, I may have found some sort of wireless twilight zone here in Thornton. Whenever I stop at this intersection (Eppinger and 88th), I will have full bars on LTE and 3G. However, data doesn't transmit. Cant load webpages or apps. But once I reach the next intersection after that, data starts working again. Pretty sure it isn't my phone since it works everywhere but that intersection.

  2. Holy crap, I feel old. I joined the S4GRU train in 2011. At the time, I was a junior in HS who just got his first smartphone (An HTC EVO 3D). I found the S4GRU FB page by chance and thought it'd be cool to know when WiMAX would deploy in my area. Little did I know, I ended up contributing to the page by informing Robert about a WiMAX site that popped up. Those 3 years went by fast. I'm glad that S4GRU grew into the awesome site we see here today.

  3. Reminds me of those funny old Taco Bell commercial where the dog passes the TV that has Jeopardy and he gives the answer.

Otosan is sitting there watching a T-Mobile commercial and he blurbs out "Bullshit" or "baloney" (due to censors) and turns to Sparky and start a conversation about Framily, Now, etc.

Otosan and Sparky. the possibilities are endless. Come on Son make it so. :D

    TS

Would Otosan speak English though? Remember that Otosan is a human turned dog. Would Sparky be the same as well? Also what breed of dog would Sparky be? I'm leaning towards golden retriever.

  4. It would be insane to see those Softbank style commercials here in the States with a Sprint dog named "Sparky". Perhaps he will go into space as well. Sprint could be the first to create a 4G network on the moon.

Hell yes. Sprint, make it happen. Also make a commercial where Otosan makes a cameo.

  5. So I got 4G LTE today at my school here at Cal State University Of San Bernardino.i know there is a tower on campus but I've been around the entire campus and there is no tower. All there is are single panels on a couple of buildings. It's not mapped on sensorly and unfortunately I have an iphone 5. Did a couple speed tests:

    Test 1: 6.23down .98up

    Test 2: 5.47down 1.62up

    Test 3: 5.95down 1.16up

That would be the top of the Phau Library. Good to see another fellow CSUSB student on this site.

  6. O_O this is big. I sort of knew this would happen at some point. But as mmark27 said, the different technologies might be a bit of a problem. Perhaps they can run both networks separately like T-Mo did with Metro PCS? I'd like to avoid another Nextel fiasco again.

  7. Sounds like eCSFB issues. San Bernardino is Incumbent market so you shouldn't be having issues. Is this site you are having issues with the only site giving you problems.?

Except I'm in Denver right now. Forgot to mention that lol.

  8. I've been having trouble trying to connect my Nexus 5 to LTE. I live near a LTE site and the only way I can make it connect to LTE is if I update PRL and switch network mode to LTE Only. Help would be appreciated :)

  9. Curious.  Are you using any custom roms, kernels, did you flash the latest update early?  Anything that may help us find a pattern for these occurrences or that could be a possible culprit?  (I'm assuming that this is a issue that developed recently).

I'm on the latest update. No custom kernels, Stock ROM.

EDIT: did a factory reset and now I can make/receive calls again
