i was just at the chipotle right next to that Sunoco a few hours earlier and I got nothing, they might have just turned those towers on.. Hopefully this time they'll stay on for good!just a small spot but I see some new spots around 19 was to concerned about mapping it to get a speed test but it felt good hopefully soon we see some coverage

he means in his town not Pittsburgh as a whole.. In RyanChaw's town (perryopolis) they have began upgrading the towers in you area, but you do not yet have access to 4g, should be a couple more months (around September or October) before you start to see 4g in your area.Did you seriously just ask that in this thread? Did you actually read the posts?

the LTE in Cranberry was shut off for some reason, might have just been testingI am excited to see more LTE coverage! Ive been in new kensington lately and ive been having a weak 4G connection there. And it seems as cranberry now has 4G, so im hoping to see LTE move up closer to butler in the distant future.

ok thanks.. There already a couple places mapped on sensorly that's how I initially found about itI will work on mapping it tonight should be in the area around 11 one of the perks of being a limo driver get to travel a lot of places

4G IN CRANBERRY!! I got the signal in the new Dick's and had it until I was near 7 fields.. Went back later that day in case it was a fluke and it was no fluke.. SUPER PUMPED!! Also, can someone map the areas that do have a 4g signal I would love to know how close it is to my house

Picked up 4g in Washington, got 3.08 down, 4.7 up. Looks like they're turning on towers down there
-
i live in Adams township (my house is literally steps away from seven fields) you might be on the other side of cranberry. I have proof as well of the speedtests I have takenYou are so full of crap. I am in cranberry every day and I am lucky to get .4 down .2 up.

i live in cranberryWow, #mindblown. What part of Pittsburgh are u getting that speed? Too bad it's not in southside because that is the only place I go that I can't connect to wifi. Can not wait to experience decent 3g speeds
-
Yes.Out of curiosity, is there a page to view network Vision enhancements for the burgh? Has anyone noticed better 3g speeds between 1 and 2.5mbps?
Even though I have not gotten 4g in my area yet, I still have excellent 3G in my area. I can peak at speeds of over 2.5 Mbps at the right time of the day and still maintains 1+ mbps at any time of the day. This gets me pumped for the speeds I might see with the upgraded network because of how close I am to the 3G tower. I say this because generally Sprint will keep their 3G and 4g towers in the same spot.

I picked up a 4g signal in Oakmont right next to the golf course.. Weak signal, but there is 4g out that way

More new LTE: New Kensington, Kennywood Park (Duquense) West Mifflin, and south Wexford. Really starting to get a good amount of LTE around the city.

yeah I just go to places where LTE has been newly mapped on sensorly and I try to find that signali drive alot and have seen backhall work done and have seen people on towers just have some observations
-
do you work for sprint or are you just assuming things? Just out of curiosity..thats good im hoping to see it get switched on in more areas i know tower work was done on alot of towers
-
right around where its mapped on sensorlywhere did you get 4g downtown?
-
I took a speedtest in Monroeville and Ross township. I had excellent speeds (18.48mbps down, 4.74mbps up) in Ross township and decent speeds (8.91mbps down, 3.87mbps up) in Monroeville. I was not able to get a speedtest in downtown or in Greensburg.Do you use sensorly? Show us the L(igh)TE!
-
I can confirm that there is now LTE in Ross township, Monroeville, Greensburg, and a small fraction of downtown Pittsburgh. This is the most new LTE addition to the Pittsburgh market since LTE was first introduced to the city in April. Good news for sure.
