I've been in the game a long time. I've always given back what I could to the community. It's a karma thing

I'm currently running iOS 6 on my 4S and its flawless. I didn't get to enjoy the 3D mapping aspect until I searched for San Francisco.

As an ASC tech, we don't care... LOL
I encourage users to take FULL advantage of their devices. Hardware failures are obviously hardware, rooting does not come into play what so ever (ie: white screen). Software and radio related issues is where you have a problem. It's hard enough trouble shooting a device with stock software, let alone custom ROM's. I simply tell customers I will have to return the phone to stock in order to rule out any user initiated errors.

Which number is the ID of the cell tower I'm connected to? None of the numbers seem to match any of the numbers of the towers I'm near according to the maps in the sponsor forum. Is that number not on those maps?
Serving PN Offset.
EDIT: I realized after that my reply is useless as it doesn't show any correlation between the phone and the S4GRU maps. The PN is how your location is determined internally. I'm sure someone here has the know how to assign a PN with the location names

A failure to communicate...
in Apple/iPhone/iOS
Posted
There has been an alarming number of users reporting an issue trying to download apps from the app store over a Sprint 3G data connection.
The apps will load/wait/fail with an option to retry.
Downloading apps over Wi-Fi seems to work just fine.
If you can confirm on your own Sprint iPhone please respond!
