  1. I know it's been pretty quiet in here for a while so I thought maybe I'd spice it up a bit.

I don't know how much I'm allowed to share but there has been a TON of movement in the Rochester market. 41 updates in the last 90 days and 18 more in the next 90.

3X is a thing. 4G service in previously 3G only areas is a thing.

EDIT: Coverage maps have not been updated yet.

  2. dial ##debug# and choose LTE (if possible.) Then take a picture of it.  Thanks!!!

Everything is blank (hasn't been activated yet). Do you still want pictures?

Edit: Just restarted it and have some numbers, will upload ASAP.

  3. Thanks, so this is neat - so I can trade in my moto e from verizon and get $150 back?

    Verizon Motorola XT1528 Moto E Black 8GB $35

How do I go about doing that?

I cant pull up the doc ATM but I'll go back and review it sometime today. Unless someone else has it handy.

  4. I'll be honest, I avoid local Sprint stores (corporate and non-corporate owned) at ALL costs. They are absolutely horrible to deal with. They always have computer problems. It easily takes over an hour to upgrade your phone in store. Every time I walk in a Sprint store, they add insurance to my line without my permission. Buying on tele-sales or online is a much better experience.

I'll be honest, as an employee of an "Authorized Retailer" I always take offense when people make this argument. I have been here since Nextel (remember the $30 phone swaps?) and I have always strived to provide the best experience available in my market.

I'm not trying to down play your experiences, just wanted to speak up for all the reps out there that actually give a s*** about you.

  5. That is amazing.

Can a customer who just ported over to sprint, and within the 14 day period. Can that customer switch to the new plans. As a new customer?

Way too early in the game to answer this question.

Speaking strictly theoretically, and by no means representing my employer, it would be easier to allow you to switch to the new plan than to lose the business or create false churn.

  6. There is one tower in west Webster that has not gone to 4g.

Is there anyway to find out when this one will be updated? I've seen town board meeting agenda items about replacing this tower with a taller one or moving it slightly.

    Thanks

    Mike

Stupid "Devils Cove" tower... It's the last piece I need to be able to successfully stream music to work and back with no interruption.

  7. Apparently Ill be sitting down with Dan Hesse tomorrow in Buffalo so I'm sure I will get some answers for everyone. By sitting down with of course I mean packed into a room with a representative from every NY dealer and by answers I mean something else sarcastic.

Absolutely nothing to report from the pep rally other than the fact that Dan is really tall and Canada couldn't possibly be less interested in our desire to bring 800 Mghz to Rochester.
