I'm very curious and excited to see how much work has been done in town. I get the impression that anything north of about 285 is plastered with upgraded sites.
The two near me (near 19th and Grant) don't look like it but they are pretty difficult to get a look at given their location (top of buildings rather than on the side).
I called in about not getting calls, but getting voicemail notifications. They said the sites serving Uptown/eastern edge of downtown were seeing higher than usual blocked and dropped rates. They said it had been happening since 9/18.
I drove by 99 Sunday and didn't pick up LTE...it dropped off on the way up to it. Based on my drive (up 6 right from 470 onto 19th, through town on Washington to 93) I think its the site on Mines campus.
The range on that Genesee tower is rather short. I'd be very surprised if thats where it was coming from. I wonder if they were testing one of the sites in the area (the one at Mines perhaps)?
I was in Golden yesterday and picked up weak LTE near Washington and CO-93. This was probably around 6pm give or take an hour. What time did you pick up LTE?
I figured you guys/gals would appreciate this.
The old Nextel equipment has been completely removed from the Continental Theatre site.

I've spotted numerous upgraded sites that have yet to go live with LTE. If I had to speculate I'd say getting fiber installed may be the lag we are seeing.
xiutehcuhtli: Are you still picking up LTE downtown? I have been trying to pick it up and have yet to and I pass by 17th and Broadway frequently (as in every day twice a day). How many floors up are you when you pick it up and how strong is the signal when you do get it?
I picked up LTE for a second at the Rockies game last night. I noticed it and almost immediately my phone dropped all the way to 1x. I never picked it up again that night. The signal was pretty weak and I was sitting on the 3B side in the outfield.
