Do you guys have any idea what the LTE coverage maps are based on? Given the completed sites map and my own experience I think this coverage map is a little bit optimistic.
Just picked up an EVO LTE tonight, no sign of LTE at my house, but I'm connected to a 3G tower that is listed as having LTE deployed. I haven't driven around yet to see if I have any better luck elsewhere.
3G speeds have been tragic for me for the last 6 months or so in SA. Usually around 75kbps up and 200kbps down. I've even seen the dreaded 1xRT a few times in the last few weeks.
I'm wondering if there are any NV sites that have confirmed 3G updates arounds, since everywhere I have run a speed test so far has been about the same.
Hopefully this is another good sign, Sprint is letting journalists test their LTE network. Other than some speed test, there isn't much interesting, no mention of any 3G improvements or battery life tests.
