  1. I freaking live that the new HTC file manager allows moving files to the external sd card! Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  2. I don't know about you all, but I've actually noticed quite a decline in data speeds in Green Bay recently. I'm hoping this it's due to some tower upgrades.....maybe even Spark upgrades. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  3. Hopefully the Android L version of Sense will implement the changes to the Notification panel and quick settings. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  4. Sorry to hear it's happening to you too but I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. Hopefully it's back up soon. I wonder if this has anything to do with upgrading the towers to Spark? #wishfulthinking
  5. Anyone in the GB/Appleton area having issues in the last half hour? My wife and I both lost or 4g LTE connection and are getting roaming warnings. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  6. I think part of the reason I was given a replacement device with no hassle was because I only had the phone for a week. It seems like those who have had it longer are the ones getting flack. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  7. Reading these posts has me convinced that it really comes down to the device. I had mine replaced after a week due to these issues and it's been fine ever since. They told be it was a shot sim card reader, suggesting a hardware failure, not software. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  8. I did. Nothing yet. I have the Harman Kardon though. Not sure if that makes any difference. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  9. Mine hasn't come yet. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  10. So how exactly do you all know what band your device is using? It's there an app for this? I'm in Green Bay so I'm guessing it's just 25 but supposedly we're going to get Spark this year too. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  11. So does anyone know what kind of timeline we're looking at for Spark coverage in Green Bay and Appleton? Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks guys. I ended up getting a replacement. Take it for what it's worth, but the guy at Sprint said it was due to a busted SIM card reader. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  13. So it's gotten a little better. Now I just have LTE cutting in and out in an area where I normally get very fast speeds. I hate to go this route but do you think I should factory reset at this point? Not sure if there's a conflict with the software. Or should I really consider bringing the device back? Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  14. What's weird is that right after it boots up after the self reset it does LTE and the Spark symbol but then after the phone reactivated abd updated prl it goes right back to 3g. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  15. Hmmm....that's a bit concerning. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  16. Also, how long did it normally take for you to S4 the change after the self activation? I completed this step and my wife's phone still has LTE where mine says 3g. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  17. Thanks. Good to see that some of you went through something similar and that it's called down. I was fearing that I had a defective device. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  18. So a quick update. After 30 minutes of being on the phone with Sprint, they referred me to the store. so as I'm driving into the store parking lot it starts working again. I'm so confused. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  19. Hoping someone can help. I've had this phone for 5 days and no LTE connection problems whatsoever, but last night I went into a low connection area and lost LTE which seemed normal. The problem is, now I can't seem to get it back no matter what I try. I've tried toggling airplane mode, updating prl/profile, toggling mobile data.... Any suggestions? My wife has the same exact phone and has LTE right now and we're in the same room. It would just seem odd that I would have a defective device considering it worked perfectly until last night. Thanks for any help Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  20. Try taking your sdcard out. I once had an sdcard go corrupt about 2 years ago and it seriously messed with my entire phone. Let me know if that helps. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  21. To confirm, have you done a factory reset already? Google changed so much behind the scenes on this update that I actually did a reset right away after accepting the OTA. Not ideal, I know. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  22. Also, ps. I'm wondering if either you have an app that's gone rogue or if you have a lot of cache built up. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  23. Keep in mind that I pretty much haven't put my phone down since waking up. But in the end, if I get at least 6 hours screen in time I'm happy. So yes, I'm very pleased with the battery life I showed in those pics. Keep in mind, when judging battery life, it's better to judge screen on time than total time. During the week when I'm at work it'd be about 98% after 5 hours, but I'm also not using the phone. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  24. I'm surprised some people are having so many issues with battery life. This is what mine looks like with GPS on all the time. Though I've seen better battery days than this I'm still pretty happy overall. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
