I saw a new tower being constructed behind the Gate gas station on Town Center Parkway and St Johns Bluff near the beltway. Don't know if it'll have Sprint but we will see.

Thanks guys for the reply

I wasn't aware iOS has an option to choose Band.
-
My iPhone 6 on 8.4 seems to prioritize B41 than the other two and it kills my battery since the signal is low
-
LTE in my area Normandy/Cecil Field has been pretty dismal the past days. Normally 2-5 dots but lately only 3G, two dots B26, constant switching between bands.
-
I work at UNF at I had no data access at all from about 11a-4p. Calls worked fine
-
I noticed the tracking area code for the tower behind my house changed from 9425 to 9525 on B41...

Additional Edit:
I also connected to LTE 2500 on the Morse Rd/295 tower while on 295 this morning.

I haven't connected to this tower yet.

9475 is a Sprint TAC so not a Clear site (83xx). Looks like the 8T8Rs will all soon be active!!
Sweet. The 8t8r panels on Blanding and Academy Sports only gave you a signal about -106? The most I've gotten from the Normandy/Fouraker tower is -102. It seems the new panels are broadcasting but probably on low power or a really shitty tilt
-
The Normandy/fouraker site had previously been confirmed not broadcasting any B41 by someone else here. I doubt it's coming from another tower. Never received any B41 or even a slight hint until earlier last week.Just curious, what's the speeds you're getting?
It may be a Clearwire site. I'd have to look at the maps.

My phone has been connecting to B41 while I'm at home. Normally it doesn't and camps on B25/26. Only getting a max of two dots. Has to be coming from the tower with 88er panels on Normandy/fouraker since the closest tower that broadcasts B41 that I know of closest to me is along 295, way too far for me to catch any signal from it. Maybe the panels are active but hasn't been adjusted?
-
I have yet to see the 88tr on Collins/295 or Blanding operational. I see based on the sceenshot that it was. I only connect to B41 on the clear tower at Wells and at Collins in that area. No B41 on the Sprint towers yet
Same here. I saw the 88er panels at Blanding across from Starbucks and Academy Sports, only got B25/26. Didn't catch any B41 from the 295/collins tower...or is that the 295/Morse Rd tower to be exact?
-
I noticed this morning my iPhone was on B41 for a little bit. The two dots of service caught my eye so that's when I checked. Normally I'm all five dots because of the tower behind my house. Maybe they're testing the 8t8r panels?

The sprint map shows Jacksonville bathe in yellow coloring as if band 41 was equal to band 25/26 coverage and it's not. Band 41 is doing its hotspot duty and that's how it should show on the map. Unless sprint is showing spark as band 41/26 on their maps.

Thanks for covering tybo

The spark coverage for Jacksonville is a lie.

Sweet, its finally live!
What's the speeds look like?
What went live?
-
The tower on normandy/fouraker must be down for maintenance. I'm getting a weak B26 signal about 110-121 db
earlier this morning it was about -82
maybe 8t8r going live!?!??
-
B26 is awesome. It's pretty much everywhere here in the Jacksonville market. I barely held any LTE signal at work with the iPhone 5. Ever since I received the iPhone 6...I get about two or three dots LTE B26 versus one dot 3G with the i5 while indoors at work.
When I'm at home, since the closest Sprint tower is less than half-mile from my house, my phone swaps between B26/25 but lately today I noticed it's been parked on B26 with between -75 to -92 signal depending where I'm at in the house. LOVE IT. I could never switch to another carrier.

Can't wait for this 8t8r stuff to turn on!

frequency scan shows no signal being broadcast. it appears like tybo indicated that they are waiting to fire up the new 8t8r all at once. it's gonna be nice when those turn on. I'm on the road (in Valdosta now) and wasn't sure which clear tower I saw near 295.
Thanks for checking that out. Have a safe trip!
