  1. I live in Lancaster which is considered part of the Central PA market. We just announced LTE about 3 weeks ago but have been seeing it for apporx 6-9 months. The northern part of Central PA might be waiting a while. This is coming from my Sprint IAE. As far as Lancaster getting 800, I was told that is should happen in the next 6 months, we will wait and see i guess.
  2. I live in East Petersburg which is approx 3-4 miles north of Lancaster. I have LTE in my living room currently. 2-3 bars at best. I mapped on Sensorly north on fruitville pike, West on Petersburg road and around that area. This was not the case yesterday so im assuming that they turned on the tower by State Road in Landisville today sometime. My Sprint account executive showed me very tower in the Lancaster County area and all are due to flipped on in the next 6 months. As far as 800 mhz goes, the dates said TBD.
  3. I was in downtown Lancaster Sunday afternoon. I picked up LTE on South Queen street starting at Vine St all the way through the square in Lancaster and it went away at Orange St. I mapped on Sensorly but it only shows a very small spot.
  4. LOL...we seem to have a lot of common interests. I too was seeing Gravity (915pm showing). I was waiting outside for friends and noticed it. When I launched Sensorly, my wife reminded me that our friends were here and could not map it.
  5. I had a decent 4g connection at Penn Cinemas earlier tonight. This is the northern most spot I have seen it in Lancaster.
  6. So If I become a sponsor, would I be able to see which towers are currently active? And how long does it usually take to be able to view the sponsor privelages?
  7. Other then the 2 towers that are currently on, are there any plans for others in the Lancaster area? I am seeing that Western Lancaster is getting mapped pretty decent.
  8. So I saw that someone mapped near the Manor Ave/Millersville Pike intersecton on Sensorly in Lancaster. I am pretty impressed with the progress of the LTE launch. I am currently at the mall and pullng a steady LTE signal througout. Hopefully soon they get the tower south of the airport on Lititz Pike turned on. Its only a mile or two from my house and I really want to ditch my Airave.
  9. Just saw another blip of LTE on Fruitville Pike heading south between Delp Rd and Granite Run Drive in Lancaster County.
  10. Just saw a blip of LTE in Lancaster at the intersection of Fruitville Pike and Roseville Rd. In between Kmart and Walmart shopping plaza. Seems to be southwestern Lancaster is what is turned on currently.
  11. Just got 4G on Columbia Ave in Lancaster near Centerville rd. I mapped using Sensorly and did speed test. 15down and 5up. Hopefully this means good, consistent speed.
  12. Does anyone know when Lancaster will start seeing a "blip" of LTE? I know the scheduled completion is for FEB 2014 but Sprint has to have something like 60%-70% complete before announcing a market as launched. I am slowly seeing areas go into roaming or no coverage at all which I am hoping that they are gearing up for this. I also work for Sprint and in the past 3-5 weeks, I have been getting a string of customers complaining about losing service or roaming where they once had it before. I am patiently waiting just like the rest of the Central Pennsylvanians but its hard when EVERY county (York, Harrisburg, Lebanon, and parts of Chester) have some or all of LTE. I know they are Shentel and operate independently. Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated.
  13. Has anyone heard of any progress in the Lancaster area? I know that Full Builds are underway with <1% LTE completed. I have noticed recently where my device roams more frequent in areas that normally has decent coverage. Hope this is a pre-cursor to LTE...been waiting for some time now.
  14. Patiently waiting over here in Lancaster. I'm watching LTE light up and slowly creeping west of Philly towards West Chester and Exton. I'm just hoping that it doesn't stop at those two places.
