  1. LTE service has been down in Holly for the past couple days. Tower maintenance I'm assuming, but eHRPD is still going "strong". How long does such maintenance usually take?
  2. Anything new in the past month? Nothing new here in Holly. It seems as though Sprint has given up on us, and it's a big missed opportunity for them, considering there are over 6,000 residents here without LTE.
  3. Since the Rose Center tower is broadcasting LTE, would that mean the site in Holly village limits would be close to flipping the switch? It's been a bummer that both fenton sites went live and Holly hasn't done anything even though they've had NV equipment for many months. Just getting frustrated as it seems to be one of the only towers left in the area without LTE.
  4. No real news lately on new LTE, which is disheartening because of the official launch. Still no LTE in Holly village (unless you count the tower NW of town that shoots its faint signal toward here), or in Trenton at my parents'. Will all of Sprint's sites eventually get their switch flipped?
  5. Girlfriend (whom I live with) got a text on her iPhone today from Sprint: "Over the next month the new network will be largely completed in your area." Didn't receive this on my S3. Does this bode well for us in Holly? I know that there is a site on the water tower right by the fire station (which happens to be right across the street). Not sure if that is a Sprint site. Also there is another site on the big blue water tower a little farther north into town. Which site, if any, would I see be accepted?
  6. Any September updates yet? I connected to an LTE tower here in Downtown Holly ten days ago, buts very intermittent. Perhaps I'm getting a signal from the tower at I-75/East Holly Rd? Or maybe bouncing one off the gigantic water tower in front of my place? The world may never know...
  7. Just connected to 4G out on my porch near Downtown Holly. Sensorly has been saying that 4G was available here but I've been unable to connect since moving here at the end of July. Only pulled about 3mbps down, but that's better than nothing! Also I'm not sure where the tower is exactly.. does anyone know?
  8. LTE is active at the tower by Speedway (Clarkston/Lapeer Rd M-24) in Orion Township. I'm able to see the tower from my apartment. Pulling 25 Mbps down, 15 Mbps up! Great to see progress. Drove around the area awhile this morning mapping, added some new points to Sensorly.
  9. Just got back from my LTE saga. Drove around Lake Orion a little bit, and found the upgraded tower. It's a biggun on the property of Odyssey Industries on Indianwood between Newman and Baldwin. Managed to hold onto 4G as far south as Clarkston/Pinetree and as far east as Heights/Lapeer. Now if only Sprint would start work on the tower at Clarkston/Lapeer, which I can see from my house! Also managed 17.5 down / 4.5 up doing a speedtest while I was right near the tower.
  10. Just opened up Sensorly and noticed some hits in Orion Township off Silverbell by the Orion GM plant and also off Indianwood and Joslyn. I'll go check it out tomorrow seeing as that's on my way to work.
