  1. Looking at both pictures... Starting from the bottom of the tower...I believe is Verizon.. then Clearwire...then TMobile..then AT&T High Capacity or Verizon LTE Panels?...then Sprint Legacy 3G on the very top.
  2. Alright! From the top down on the tower...Nextel...then Clearwire...then Sprint. On the bottom rack...that looks to me like Sprint Legacy 3G and Sprint NV Samsung Gear with RRU's!!!! This tower is probably just waiting to go 4G Accepted once backhaul is ready....
  3. Simple Answer is Co-located. The owner of a tower can lease to whatever carriers want to pay a price to put up equipment at a cost of course.
  4. Looking at your pictures the Double Stacked Antenna Panels not the round ones... the ones right above or below each each other kind of spread out is an AT&T array. Sprint is either on the very top or right below the double stacked AT&T antennas. AT&T has been adding a 2nd RRU to their antenna sector's all over Sacramento so it could be AT&T doing work as well.....hopefully it is Sprint though.
  5. To be Exact it is alongside Jackson Rd between Excelsior and Eagles Nest Rd right down the little street called Tree View Lane.
  6. There is not any Sprint 4G LTE Accepted Sites in Rancho yet. There is only 1 4G Accepted Site south of Mather AFB along Jackson Highway near excellseir...
  7. SLC Contracting has a couple of 4G Accepted Towers in Roseville and I see that they have 1 tower out there in West Sac with an issued permit....also I see Triton has 1 4G Accepted Tower in Roseville and they have 1 tower out in West Sac with a permit issued as well.....hmmmm
  8. If your talking about the tower right at Watt and Elkhorn that one is not Sprint. I believe Nextel(iDen) is on the Watt/Elkhorn tower though maybe they are taking Nextel equipment down? Sprint's is just down the street West down Elkhorn Blvd from Watt about 2 blocks..maybe you saw that one, but that's pretty far away to see from the Antelope/Watt Intersection.
  9. I know where this tower is as well. It's right in the vicinity of a public/private storage place just south and then east of the Walmart on Watt/Elverta. I'll try to check it out this weekend sometime. Jay maybe you can check it out first. I wish we could get some more info on that Stealth Tower by the Firestation/Antelope Highschool off Elverta. If I go to Antelope Golf Course this weekend I will check out the other Sprint Tower there off Elverta. That one is right next to the Golf Course Pro Shop/Driving Range.
  10. Roseville, CA already has about 6-7 Towers with 4G LTE active. There are many others that are going through NV upgrades now and more soon to start. Sprint will not make a public announcement that 4G LTE is available until at least 50% of the UCV's Market's Tower's have been upgraded. Doesn't mean that you won't see 4G LTE active before that 50% is reached. Look at Roseville....they nearly have all their towers or a good chunk of towers upgraded and 4G LTE active now. For 90% of the UCV's towers to be upgraded and have 4G LTE active is expected to be Q2 2014. That is probably some 450+ Towers Total for all of the UCV Market. Once the tower near your home/house is upgraded to 4G LTE then you could probably care less about how fast the other towers are coming online/upgraded. But we should have great coverage by March Next Year Everywhere.
  11. Sounds like they are probably doing additional testing. They may have had to turn off the 4G LTE signal on some towers in preparation for surrounding towers that could be going through an upgrade. It will probably come back on eventually. Hopefully when it does come back on we will hear that more towers got activated. They could be getting ready to do a cluster launch for 3G NV on all the recent Roseville NV 4G LTE Accepted towers as well since 3G has not been flipped over to the new network on the towers that have received the new Samsung Equipment already.
  12. Definitely not your phone in Rancho. My phone has been going into roaming all day long as well and losing Sprint Signal south of highway 50 and Zinfandel. I think it's a good sign of work being done. Not sure which tower though.
  13. There is definitely some work going on at one of the Rancho Towers today I believe. Data is non-existent right now and my phone is roaming, which it never does. Also I can't get any texts out for the life of me. Could be the one 4G one on Coloma that is in progress. Maybe they are testing? The Sprint Tower on Kilgore seems awfully huge just have to 6 total Antenna's I hope when they start work they make this a High Capacity Site.
  14. That is the tower right there we think! It looks like it should be some sort of cell site installation with the fenced in area right next to it.
  15. GiantJay, on 15 Jul 2013 - 08:44 AM, said: I wish we could get a permit for this one. I wonder if the firestation address is maybe part of the permit?
  16. Yeah I don't think that the Tree Tower on Walerga is Sprint either Jay. I believe Clearwire is on there and maybe some old iDen equipment as well as Verizon, Metro PCS, and Tmobile has some new Erricson AIR's about mid-way up. Right next to the firestation though directly to the left when looking at the firestation from the street you will see a single Monopole that looks like there is nothing on it. We are thinking this is a Sprint Stealth Site that has the antenna's hidden inside the pole. You will notice 5 bars from that location as well. There is a park lighting fixture about lower to midway up the pole to notice as well. I have not walked up close to the pole to see if there is Base Station equipment below, but I think this has to be the location for the Sprint tower for this location.
  17. I knew it! Then Sprint right below with good ol' Legacy 3G panels. Still no work on this tower yet. I drive by this tower nearly every day on the way to work. Hey lilotimz..you have any news on the tower off Walerga/Elverta? Whether Sprint is the Stealth Tower by the High School or the Tree tower over on Walerga? Any updates on permits for these possible two locations?
  18. Maybe someone else can clarify or I can get a picture of this tower I believe the 6 antenna's are the Erricson AIR Antennas which is what T-Mobile is using.
  19. The Tower that you are talking about along highway 50 by the footbridge between Zinfandel and Mather Exit's has not had any work done on it yet. There are two carriers on this tower. T-Mobile is on the top with (6) Brand New Erricson AIR Antennas and Sprint is right below with (3) White Legacy 3G Panels. This tower is also not configured for range...that is why the signal in Chili's is low. Alot of the bigger buildings in Rancho block signal from the highway 50 tower. The tower that serves the Chili's your talking about is over off Kilgore/WhiteRock right at Sprint's Corporate Office...this tower has not had upgrades done yet either. The Tower in Rancho that currently has 4G In Progress work is at the intersection of Coloma Rd and McGregor Dr..look it up on Google Maps. Sprint is on the very top of this tower.
  20. Just donated a little something to help contribute to the site. Was not much, but I like all the information that is being collected here.
  21. I would think between the "tree tower" on Walerga and that possible (Stealth Site) over by the Antelope High School/Park...that would be two Sprint sites really close together.....I think Sprint is probably on one or the other don't you think?
  22. I need to get access to the Sponsor's Area. Is there a minimum donation or whatever you can donate at best to gain access to the Sponsor's Area? I'm right in the area of Walerga/Elverta Rd. I didn't know that pole over by the antelope high school was a stealth sprint site. I thought sprint was on the big christmas tree looking tower on walerga between elverta and antelope rd. I know the site in the apartment area right by autozone/little caesar's near the high school is an AT&T only site however.
