Looks like I'm getting eHRPD at my place, downtown SLC. I noticed a doubling in my 3g speeds over the past 2 weeks. From 0.30-60 mbps to 1.00-1.40 mbps, almost the same as the Wimax in my house (1.50-2.50). I consistently get .90 mbps, before I was stoked to see anything above 0.40. I can't wait to start rocking the LTE on my evo!

I have been getting eHRPD all over the valley as well for a few months now. Permits are starting to be issued for work on towers. Hopefully work will start soon!

It can vary from a few weeks to months. Some sites are turned around seemingly in less than a week, so sites take months. A few sites in Kansas and Louisiana have been sitting for months with all the equipment installed and still no LTE. As long as backhaul is in place, once work physical works starts at a site, it should only be a couple of weeks before things start coming online. That's assuming that the Utah LTE core is complete too.

What do you mean by the "Utah LTE core" ? Sorry just need more detail or dumbed down

On my way to work today I noticed an americom truck and a lift at the base of a tower. Could this be the start of sprints LTE rollout here in utah? Ive heard rumors but have not been able to confirm it anywhere? What should I look for?
