  6. I posted a few pages back about a lack of LTE coverage in a large portion of the MetroWest area. I contacted them today regarding a loss of even 3G service at my home during the past week or so. Turns out they are upgrading the towers nearby for NV. Scheduled to be completed by tomorrow. I didn't get details on what actual work was being done, though. The coverage maps have been updated already.

  10. There are certainly no announced 800 Mhz site yet. However, I got zero LTE in that conference room until I went into the ##data# menu and enabled bands 26 and 41. When my phone finished rebooting it definitely connected to LTE, but quickly dropped back to 3G. I had Network Signal Info app open, but it doesn't specify the band of LTE. Is there another way to check?
  11. Non existent for me so far. I did enable additional bands on my G2 and connected to LTE inside for all of ten seconds. Not sure what band it was. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk

  15. Hadn't considered that. If/when they turn on 800Hmz LTE I suspect I will finally have usable LTE service.
  16. I'm looking for any info regarding this big purple area (no LTE) in this Metro West coverage map. Is it lack of towers or terrain? A bit of a bummer since I live and work just a half mile outside of LTE coverage. Really shocked that they couldn't manage to cover the MathWorks campus yet. There are nearly 3k geeky engineer types here and they all have smartphones/tablets!

  19. I chatted with a rep today about my non-existent 3G service at my new house in Palm Bay. I wanted to get an AirRave, but the rep told me that the current NV upgrade was the source of the terrible 3G service. He said that it was scheduled to be completed on February 5th. I know the first tier support information can be quite unreliable but I thought I would share.
