The one on Manhattan, you need to be standing outside to have a weak connection. That does no good on pushing sales for the phones chained up inside the store lol.

Yup. Hspa. I looked up his phone stats online lol. What's funny is there is unofficial wimax in the city. I thought I was going crazy when I seen 4g show up when I had my evo. But forget that. I'm all for lte to be completed in this state

One of my Co workers has t-mo and he been getting 4g before the first sprint tower had it active.

Maybe it depends on which way the wind blows. LOL I remember way back in the 90's, I was at Panama City beach listening to my walkman and I picked up B97 But I wonder about your theory. Sometimes I have to be standing at my front door or laying in my bed (which shares the same wall as my front door) to pick up the signal from Lapalco. Sometimes I can be sitting on my sofa and be connected to it.

Well that is interesting to know... Not that I am complaining at all, I'm glad even when I get a weak signal that only gives me a 1 MB download I'm happy, because just like digi just said a couple post up, it is way better than the 3g speed I was getting. So does LTE have a longer range than the 3g? It would be nice to see a better connection when I'm at my dads house in Lafitte. lol

You think the low speeds are because we are not officially launched? The highest I've gotten was about 19mbps and that was right by the tower, in Port Sulphur none the less Any place else I'm lucky to get up to 13-15 mb

I don't know if it was me being too close to the site... Right under it actually, but when I was under it with my signal in the high - 60s, I was getting borderline 1 mb speeds download and under a meg upload. Ping was also varying between 100 to 400 ms.

What's kind of weird Is I had no problem connecting to it, but once I drove to far away, I lost the connection to it but connected to the tower on Dufossat. Once I made my way back to the tower again, it didn't reconnect till I got to the on ramp to the GNO. But for Jose_Raul to have a connection at carondelet and Julia, and compneo and I had had a connection on Manhattan blvd, then I guess its just hard to connect when being so close??

Jose_Raul picked up 131 on Carondelete and Julia. Compneo picked up 300 at the strongest he could get on Expressway and Barataria. Going in the clockwise direction and adding 169, wouldn't that mean the tower was more north of where compneo was located?
