in The Wall

Noticed the 4G indicator show up on my phone today in Port Orchard. Did a speed test and was getting 14Mbps down and 7Mbps up. Awesome!

Seattle/West Washington Network Vision/LTE Deployment schedule update

While on the phone with Sprint yesterday I asked the representative about LTE in may area. He said they are ahead of schedule and looking at a early summer launch instead of late summer. Of the towers within a five mile radius of my home in Port Orchard he said there was one tower scheduled to be complete on Feb 9th and 4 others in June. I just ordered a Galaxy Note 2 so it should be here by the 9th to see if they really do flip the switch on that one tower. I may have to drive around a bit to figure out which tower it is. There is a tower that has been down a few times recently that shows "in progress" on the NV map. I'm guessing that will be one of the first ones in my area with LTE.

The Silverdale/Bremerton announcement is welcomed news for me. I am eligible for a handset updgrade in two weeks. I have been with Sprint for about 15 years and was ready to jump ship to Verizon. Happy to be happy with Sprint once again.

I hear a lot of talk about Band 41 TDD-LTE. Does anyone know if this is live in the Seattle area? Or more specifically Kitsap county which has quite a bit of Wimax coverage. Is there a map or is that in the Premier Sponsor area?
With Seattle being the IBEZ I feel like we are being left out of all the 800mhz Band 26 goodness.
