  1. Yeah for Yeah for real. They are in no way a rural carrier.
  2. I saw that new purple over by Worthington on Sensorly. So, Less than 7 hours till iDen is forever a part of history. Wondering if they were waiting to shut off towers so that they could just deploy rapidly in July? Just a random thought, prob no validity, but its odd that we aren't seeing 800 1xAdvanced on this new tower yet, maybe its going to be deployed in mass with LTE next month, one can hope I can't wait to rid myself of my AirRave!
  3. Just got back from testing off morse rd. it popped up right as I got off 270 and kept rolling all the way to i70 and popped up here and there on my sprint ipad all the way to 270 and 23 very weak up there. It was great! Have a note II so I'm not sure if I can get 800 yet I know Note II had a prl update to remove 800 until they could get the compatibility issues resolved. Wow!
  4. Once accepted sprint turns on switch basically right? I've probably asked before haha
  5. I think AT&T and Verizon are our main fiber providers
  6. I am almost positive the 2 new prls will work on 8001xa that they recieved
  7. Idk but 800 1x advanced is supposed to be 4x faster so I'm excited for my bottom barrel speeds being 400-500 Kbps because that's a good day on evdo, haha.
  8. I'm from Columbus Ohio and were just now getting 800 CDMA and nv, no LTE yet ....But I hope there's some in Destin when I'm there the 5th-15th in July
  9. Yeah I ran a speed test there and it was like .20 :/ blah
  10. I saw a tower like that driving down Lancaster rd the other day, is that what you mean by on top of like a power pole?
  11. I know it'll be here faster than we know! We're the cheerleaders for it.what does everything think of all this dish clear wire SoftBank and sprint, and Chinese govt drama lol
  12. The problem with that is am a rep and we aren't given this information. And if anyone in the store had it it would be me. I have heard what my reps tell me and it seems reliable but 2016 that's just not feasible. We are going to be live before that....now when...I don't know. I feel like sprint isn't sure because of the amounts of variables with the legacy towers, fiber, and man power just remember we all have knowledge and were pooling it together. Some have way more than us. But in the end. Network Visions goals are to be mostly completed by the end of this year nationwide. It's aggressive and we can see that. Now my birthdays May 31st so I'm going to start mapping around then since that's what I've heard would be best.
  13. I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about LTE and repeaters. We have a nice expensive repeater set up at work to get better voice quality. Will LTE amplify over existing cdma pcs repeaters in the same way voice and data do?
  14. Accepted sites meaning LTE going live on certain sites? Or more sites approved for work?
  15. There was a man from Ericsson I met the other day and he said that they were involved in columbus NV upgrades. I didn't realize this.....is this confirmed on here by anyone? He also mentioned it not being complete till end of year .....which I see feasible for our entire market but surely we will see some live activity sooner than later. I hope he was just a negative nelly!
  16. Here's speeds I've tested at my parents house off Roberts rd pretty awesome!
  17. Why would you take a retail associates word? They come here to read what's going on
  18. Those two white power stations look like the all in one units they are deploying with NV
  19. If its not turned back on at the moment it may not show :/
  20. Possibly by mound builders state memorial idk. That's a guess because that's the closest sprint store to a tower. Idk though. All I knew was it was at the store there on 21st.
