This was as much as I could get in downtown Knoxville this weekend.

 

I haven't seen anything yet at this site but the one at the Broadway exit did just have the cabinet half installed. It's sitting on wood planks and being used along with the old grey cabinets. The crew that was working there last week or the week before I can't remember which was only doing tower mods for increased coax cable installs.

As far as I know att is done with both these towers so any work seen being done should be sprint. There are 16 crews working on the att towers in knoxville so if you see a crew working try and drive by and catch the name of the company and I can let you know which company is working on that tower. So please don't get your hopes up too high just because you see a crew working on a tower. I'm trying my best to find out as much as I can.

Cool I was just wondering I work in Knox but live off Chapman in Seymour but closer to Sevier and most of the towers are up on the hills and the driveways going up are gated so I can't see most base stations. I just went over here to Nichols street off cherry to see if it had new cabinets but I don't think it did. Thanks for your reply.

Correction that flag pole tower is on N 6th Ave off hall of fame. Seen him half way up the tower at 530 yesterday

Saw a guy climbing tower around exit 394 flagpole type tower. I picked up 4g on James white this morning over the river. Only for a few minutes though

4am Monday morning sitting at McDonald's on the strip running lte discovery and still not getting 4g downtown.

Awesome leaving Knoxville at 5 heading back into Seymour will run sensory and see what I can pick up. Looking at sensory now I might pick up on hall of fame. Great news for a Friday

Since sprint let's people use completed towers I don't understand why anyone would care about an official launch. Seems pointless

Well finally nice weather. Maybe work will speed up some. I am suprised the crews have gotten anything done with all the rain here in knoxville or east TN for that matter.

Looks like Maryville will get it before Knox. Sevierville will probably be before Knox to. Oh well still love to see them light up.

Not sure if sprint but there was 10 white trucks parked at the hutchinson ave cell tower lots guys standing around and inside the fence have no clue what was happening but I'm hoping to it has something to do with sprint never seen so many people at one though. Had no time was coming back from lunch.

I think learning of the topside rd tower going live has made me even more anxious. I wish it would show up on sensorly without zooming in so far.

I didn't mean to say it switches constantly it might be ehrpd a few days then one day of rev a then back to ehrpd for a few days then back.

My s3 switches between rev a and ehrpd all the time here in Knoxville. But it has been for awhile ever since ehrpd starting showing up.

Yeah LTE is popping up everywhere around knoxville. Sadly i think it going to be a while to.

I saw a crew working at the tower behin ye ole steakhouse on chapman hwy dont kmow if it was ssprint or not but they were dragging up new atennas.

Sorry for my typing in its hard for me on the phone. Like I said though I'll drive to407 and past and come in the back way tto Douglas dam and such but ill be watch sensory and tried to map only 4G area. If I go out of bounds ill try to getback on it and map it through the area

Cool I plans on going past 407 like deep springs and stuff just drive all through the area but thanks about sensory I wasn't sure

Awesome man I will map after 5 its only showing on 40 nut Iwill spend 30 minutes ior so driving the closet main roads off it and see what we get. Do you know how fast sensory updates the msps just wondering

I don't know if anyone notice but sensory show 4G around Morriston and Jeff city but Friday the 8th it was showing up at exit 407 on sensory the Sevierville exit seems to be getting closer slowly just saying. I am gonna take 40 how get off at exit 407, and drive around on main roads around there to see what I pick up
