Actually, the problem I have is that my phone rarely switches to 4G unless I toggle airplane mode. It's really annoying!
To answer your question, though, I haven't experienced the delay from 4G to 3G that you have.

I'm sitting at Hurricane Wings on CR210 and I have 4G. It's a miracle.

You can go to Sensorly.com and see where people have gotten signal. Welcome!

Bah, 4G is off again at WGV.
Edit: spoke too soon. There it is.

If you haven't migrated over to Google Voice, what are you waiting for? Texts coming via the data connection is one of the many benefits! (Full integration is actually one of the few Sprint exclusives.)I considered this but the companies WiFi is rather slow as well. I'll have to report back. The main concern for me is text messages though.

You could always just use GrooveIP on your company wifi...

Good question. I'm not a sponsoring member, so I don't get the maps. It was about 2 miles south of the 210 exit.

I just got about a 30 second blip of 4G heading north on 95 between world golf village and 210!

I'm glad you're on top of this, Ascertion. Losing WiMax and being stuck on 3G when the rest of the civilized world is on 4G is totally frustrating. If I wasn't on SERO, I'd have left long ago.
