  1. I can agree. Its only gotten decent in the Oviedo area, there are some areas around it thats it decent, but it seems to be the best around UCF at the moment (not right on campus, but surrounding areas) because I got a 6mb/6mb on the tower by I4 and 436, but when I was near UCF I got MUCH better speeds, upwards of 12mb/7mb
  2. So I went to the tower by Lake Emma and I4 today in Lake Mary, all of the LTE stuff is there, and its somewhat hooked up, but they cant climb the tower and install it because there is a birds nest sitting on the top of it, and there are baby birds in it. and it mating season. I spoke to the guy, and he said there is some Federal Law that prevents them from climbing it, and if they did, the person that climbed the tower would get fined $100,000 and anyone that was in the fenced in area would get fined $10,000 each, and he said there are usually about 6 people there. It might not be until JULY that it actually gets going, but said it could be sooner. The nest was HUGE, it literally was all over the top of the tower. Hopefully one of the other towers in Lake Mary can get worked on. I am going to visit a couple more of them tomorrow and see what I can find out. Just sucks that the LTE is there (I could see the 'cords' ran up the tower part way, and the guy was explaining to me what basically the LTE part was) but a damned birds nest is stopping it from going live. They could turn it on now, but it would basically have no reach since its practically on the ground. =/
  3. Got some decent LTE on I4 around 436. Ran a couple tests, best was 6mbs down / 6mbs up. Will post pictures of it when home. Also going to head over to the Tower by I4 and Lake Emma on way home and take some pictures of the tower. Saw work being done on it while driving by it on I4. Saw some cars and trucks. Hopefully they will be there when I get there.
  4. Thats what I have a feeling happened, because I have not seen it yet. I am glad at least 1 tower is being worked on (that I was able to see) and according to the Sprint site, 3 towers in the Sanford/Lake Mary area have recieved Data Speed upgrades, and Capacity Upgrades (similar to the ones in Oviedo that now have LTE) I remember checking the same thing just a few weeks ago, and all the towers had no upgrades to them except for voice quaility.
  5. Yes, I picked up LTE for like a Split second by I4, but have since not, and I am over that way on a regular basis.. Not sure if maybe my eyes played tricks on me, or if I was somehow picking up another tower. I cruised around Lake Emma earlier, and was not able to pick anything up either. I am just hopeful that it comes soon.
  6. If you actually look at Sensorly, it seems someone picked up LTE briefly by that tower, but it had a really low signal. Not sure if they somehow were reaching another one, because everytime I head that way, I am never able to pick it up.
  7. The 2's have a data speed increase, the 3's have either 2 data speed increases or 1 data speed, and 1 data coverage Edit: The one by I4/Lake Emma is the one I saw work being done on (at least equipment being brought in) and has 2 data speed increases, so hopefully the switch will come soon!! I was mapping it out with my ruler, and its ~3.5 miles away from me, so HOPEFULLY it will reach me! Double Edit: When I look at areas that have 3G (over in Oviedo) it seems that LTE comes when it has either 2 data speed increases or a data speed increase, and a data capacity.
  8. Yes, I know! If you go to the Sprint site and check out the tower coverage, 1 on Lake Emma got 2 data upgrades (I am assuming thats the LTE coming, and another got 1 data upgrade) I am SUPER excited. The one on Lake Emma HOPEFULLY will give me coverage, or reach me. Its about 3-4 miles away, but I can only hope. The one that is closer to me has not said anything about upgrades, but the other one which is on Lake Mary Blvd is about 1.5 miles away from me and should def. give me service. I have noticed 3G to be a LITTLE better than before. Not .01/,01 but now its about .1/.07 which is BETTER, but still horrible. (before the launch of LTE it seemed like it was .6-.8/.3-.4)
  9. My apologies. I did not think saying a site name would be bad. I mean you could go to the site and get the ID off the sign, but that is not what I did, I just simply stated what towers I would HOPE would come on, not try to give out information. So for that, I do apologize.
  10. I would love to see one of those towers go live soon. The first one is near Seminole State College / UCF also near the courthouse and jail. Which happens to be right be me, so I would freaking love to see that tower live.
  11. Picked up LTE for a little today at 436 and Red Bug (I know its already been mapped, but seems like the tower is being worked on) when I went to do a speed test, it was gone, so it must be on and off there.
  12. Good to see it spreading again. Please heads towards the Lake Mary area. A tower was live a couple of weeks ago for a short time, been off since. Sprint said a tower in Sanford was being worked on, have not seen anything yet. I hope it can spread this way soon!
  13. I am hoping for it to come soon as well! When I look at Sensorly, it seems to be ALL around me, but not here =/ Oh well, it will come soon enough. And hopefully the 3G speeds get better before then. I keep switching back and forth between an LTE phone and a WiMax phone because I really can not handle the 3G speeds, if I am out, its slower than dial-up. But, hopefully soon.. I saw them working on a Tower by me a couple of weeks ago, and someone spotted LTE in Sanford a couple of days ago, so I really hope that those towers are complete, and that the switch turns on soon!!!!
  14. Yeah.. 3G and Voice in Lake Mary are horrendous at the moment. Hopefully that tower will fix it. Its so close in all the surrounding areas that I HOPE it comes soon because man its boggggggged down at the moment
  15. Let me know what you find, the towers in our are hopefully are coming on soon. If the tower there is live, I should be able to pick up LTE here in Lake Mary as well!
  16. Darn, I was hoping you actually meant on LM Blvd. I picked up a signal for about 2 minutes near the I-4 end of it about a week ago, but has been dead since then. Was hoping it was getting turned back on
