  1. i understand the point of incognito and that's great. but, there isn't an option for people who want to disable it for parental reasons. or at least require a password to launch incognito mode that can be adminstrated by parents.

If anything, they should make something that tracks information and cannot be deleted unless you're an admin.

You would be able to know if the kids watch porn or not. It's difficult to prevent it with all of the technology and their friends technology.

  2. I know that's not the function. Never said it was. In fact I said the opposite. The only solution I can come up with is to install a browser that doesn't have incognito, and disable the others.

"Is there a way to make incognito filter out pages in the event the phone is in someone else's hands."

(No. That's not part of the functions of incognito.)

I simply answered your question. Incognito was never meant to include that function and I don't think it ever will.

Incognito mode simply resembles it's exact definition.

    Adjective

(of a person) Having one's true identity concealed: "operating incognito".

  3. That's what the question is about. Is there a way to make incognito filter out pages in the event the phone is in someone else's hands.

No. That's not part of the functions of incognito. You can probably find something by rooting the phone. There's some people that might be able to help you on DroidForums.Net

It probably won't be easy, but I may be wrong.

  4. Incognito on my Samsung Galaxy S3 doesn't filter out any web sites.

What incognito mode does, it simply doesn't store any data during your browsing session.

Let's say you watch porn. It won't get saved on your history, cookies, etc...

So, maybe what you're looking for isn't called incognito mode at all and you're confusing it for something else.

  5. Another vouch for employer discount. I went through radioshack online and Sprint told me that it has nothing to do with Radioshack. Sprint can do it after if they manage to take it off somehow.

The plan displayed higher pricing online, but when the bill came the discount was still applied. If anything, they might want proof like a pay stub or something. That's what they did with us.

  6. The phones right next to each other. I would assume they would be connected to the same tower and no downloads.

I noticed it over youtube and we decided to check our phones after my GS3 wouldn't even begin to stream because data was too slow. Which is the norm around here.

The thing I found that was the only key factor was that both Sprint phones had the same issue and both Boost phones were faster even if they both were GSll's

  7. I'm a little curious about why Boost Mobiles data connectivity is faster than my Sprint 3g. Here in the same city and phones near each other.

    2x Boost SGll's - Can stream video

My Sprint SGlll - Can bearly load web pages

My Girls Sprint iPhone 5 - Can bearly load web pages

It cool that my bro in law pays less and seems to be getting more than his sister and I.

Could this be related to the hardware or the service?

A simple explanation will suffice. Thanks

Associates at verizon fill in some info, just very little:

IE, reason for termination, death, competition, domestic dispute.....and like 20 other categories that are pretty much not used because they overlap or make little sense. If competition is selected, then one is to select the name of the other company from a dropdown, but no further info (ie price, signal etc).

In most cases, associates just choose "domestic dispute" as it results in the fastest transaction. Death is also chosen when needed as its the only options that allows a refund of the unused portion of the month.

Theres another way around that. I had them freeze my account and the rep didnt charge me the $15 for freezing the account they normally charge. So on my last day, I called to cancel and I wasnt charged.

  9. I've been rocking my Verizon Rezound with fast LTE for a while now, but will probably switch back for unlimited data when my contract is up later this year. That'll save a lot of money too!

The rest of the family members with Sprint phones on my account will be happy, though the Bixby (Tulsa) kiddos will have to wait along with lynyrd65.

I assume that Oklahoma City will include Norman and Yukon. Yukon on the West side always did get a lot better signal and speeds than I ever did over on the East side - I think they just had newer towers and equipment.

Please be sure to tell Verizon that you're switching to Sprint because they got rid of unlimited data and all of their old customer incentives like early upgrades and cheaper upgrades if you decided to keep unlimited data.

Well that's what I told em' anyway.

  10. I don't think that's the point at all. The point was that he was still being charged for the service even though he was not eligible for it. Why would the company willingly steal your money? A notice should be sent 20 days before insurance expires, calls should be made just prior, and you should not be charged for the services any longer once that time is up.

  11. I don't have any kids, but I cannot even imagine the pain and anger that these parent's and relatives must over come to cope with this tragedy. Especially now that there is nobody left to punish.

I'd jump in front of a bullet to save a strangers life. Yet, there's other people that shoot these strangers. Very sad.

  12. It would really be his choice. It's just a matter of his preference if it's cheaper. There's some good deals on the phones right now due to the holidays. I jumped ship from Verizon to Sprint and I dropped from their unlimted to 4g to 3g. I'm fine with it with really slow speeds in my area. Take into consideration that I was fed up with VZW and the way they treat their customers, so that was the MAJOR reason I switched. I got a GS3 because it's a little more future proof and as long as I get 4g when it's turned on, I'm happy with it. I think I can hold on to it for 2 years, or Ill buy used at the end of next year if the GS5 is around $300 used for Sprint.

  13. The first Santa Maria area site was upgraded and posted on our Sponsor maps last Sunday.

It boosted for a week and yesterday was the worst service I had. It was 5 bars to none every couple of seconds. Like if service was turning off and on. 3g would turn on and off too while I had 5 bars.

  14. Welcome to the site!

I would suggest to you what I tell everyone these days, connect to WIFI whenever possible. Till the NV upgrades are complete, you'll see slow data, so why not use WIFI if available?

I would use wifi, but I dont have home internet. I only have wifi at the office. I only use my internet for casual web browsing pages, and my phone should be capable of that. Im not asking for blazing speeds, Im asking for functional speeds. I understand that the issues should be related to the tower upgrades.

The worst issue is when I cant send text messages due to MMS. Thats the most important.
