  1. I'm not surprised... I always have had issues in that area.
  2. I've had a lot of data issues with Sprint in the past year, but hopefully these network upgrades will fix all that!
  3. I'm working from home today near Galloway and Hall road and have no voice problems (iPhone 5). But perhaps I'm hitting a different tower from where I am?
  4. This has probably been explained countless times, but could one of you point me to, or answer how lte towers usually come online in a market? For example, if they complete a tower, will they turn it on before they complete the entire rollout of a city or will they wait and launch the entire new network for a city in one fell swoop? Seems like both would have advantages and disadvantages, but I'm just curious what other areas have experienced... And more curious because I'm close to one of these towers where new cabinets have been spotted! Drew
  5. No change this morning on the way into work - I even did the speed test within sight range of the tower on Norton, but I got 0.40 down and 0.07 up. Admittedly, that's a little better than before, I suppose.
  6. Gotcha - I'm no expert by any means at identifying who's tower is who's, but it did cross my mind that the tower probably wasn't Sprint when service didn't change for me.
  7. Yep - I thought that the new tower that went up at Georgesville Rd exit on the west side of the interstate would help, but no such luck!
  8. I am loving what I'm hearing here... I am near 270 and Broad in the Galloway area and didn't notice any speed differences this weekend, but I was also not around the area much and when I am at home, I'm on WiFi. I just did a speedtest without wifi and got 0.08 Mbps down and 0.11 up, but I'm also downtown right now, which has never had great service anyways. I'll do a test when I get home tonight and see how the speeds look. That Norton Road tower is likely the tower that I use as my home is at Galloway and Hall roads. Awesome to see some movement around the west side! Side note: does anyone drive the southwest leg of 270 regularly where all the construction is? I consistently have dropped calls as I travel west to east around the curve where 270 goes east, just before the route 64 exit. Has anyone experienced that? I have an iPhone 5. Thanks!
  9. Yep, I'm on the latest version, but I'm also on the outskirts of town, so Sprint service isn't as good because of my location. But I still have issues downtown which used to be just fine on my nexus s.
  10. I've been seeing horrible 3G speeds on my iPhone 5 - LTE couldn't come fast enough. However, it does look like there is a known Sprint network issue with the iPhone 5, as documented in this discussion thread at the sprint user community. Hopefully resolution of this ticket will see better 3G support. My wife's 4S works better on 3G than my 5! http://community.spr...aw/thread/99267
