  1. Does anyone still have issues with their cellular randomly disconnecting? Mine still does it and I don't know what else to do.

Both my and my sister’s iPhone XS have experienced this since we got them at launch. Poof! LTE indicator disappears, leaving just bars. Then bars disappear, leaving no indicator. After a few seconds the reverse of this sequence.

It happens often enough to be annoying, but not so annoying that we’ve called support.

  2. I mentioned it earlier the Tampa market thread, but i made my first VoLTE call today on my iPhone XS.

I got a spam call during a game I was playing. Normally this cuts off my data session and it takes a while to reload, but this time after declining the call, the game carried on like nothing happened. I thought that was odd and checked the carrier info on my iPhone XS and saw IMS was active for SMS and Voice. Woohoo!

  3. Did you try scrolling down a good ways through the list and/or refreshing? That fixed it for me.

I’ve had more luck the last couple of times in getting the sub-forums to stick. This time I changed the view to List since the last Tapatalk app update changed the Groups view to grid.

  4. I was able to get them to appear now. Only thing different was clear the cache in the Tapatalk settings. Sweet!

Spoke too soon. Leaving the app for a period of time make them disappear again. [emoji849]

BUT re-clearing the cache brings them back.

  5. Yeah, I was speaking about my Tapatalk app. When I first pulled it up, the Market sub-forum was in the middle, I had to scroll way down to see it. When I refreshed the page (pull down when you are at the top) they returned to the top of the page.

  6. Looks like they are there, but you have to scroll to the bottom. I just pulled it up on my phone, and it showed for a brief moment, then disappeared. When I scrolled to the bottom, the sub-forums were there. That seems like a bug.
Edit: When I refreshed the screen, they came back to the top of the screen.

Right. In the mobile web app they’re there. But in Tapatalk I can’t see, for example, the Markets sub-forum.

  7. Um, wow. I've used spotlight search a hundred times a day since whenever it was introduced, and I've never seen that. Maybe some kind of software corruption? I doubt it's hardware related unless you see it while doing other things.

Restarting clears it up right away, but it usually starts this up again after a few days.

Only addition to my phone is the CellularInfo beta software, but it's been doing this for the last couple of months before the beta.

  8. Anyone having data problems? Unless I'm being throttled for some reason which I shouldn't be, data has been down at several towers even though I have a signal.

Yes, on both B41 LTE and eHRPD/EVDO. Absolutely zero data in spite of healthy signal. My sister encountered the same just after 12pm. I'm in Brandon north of the Best Buy with an iPhone 6 Plus. She's in Riverview by 301 and Causeway with and iPhone 6.

  9. My guess it was outdated data that your device did not refresh. Sprint may deploy some slivers of 15, 10 or 5MHz B41 in the future with remaining spectrum scraps after 20MHz wide channel possibilities have been exhausted. But I would be shocked to see any other than in some FIT testing at this point.

I finally got my 6 Plus to show the download frequency again at the same location. It now shows 20 MHz as expected.

Glitch that was, likely from have switched from B25 to B41 without the engineering screen refreshing.

  10. I'm noticing that my iPhone 6 Plus holds onto band 41 like a beast, even in the bowels of my job where my 5s reverted to EVDO. Also, where I'm at right now, the B41 bandwidth is only 5Mhz. Is this due to our market's deployment being handled by Clearwire? Or legacy WiMAX taking up frequencies? both?

  11. Multiple B41 sites are down this morning. There is a signal but no data..

My coworker with the S5 was talking about not being able to use the Internet, but my 5s was fine, so I figured that must be what happened.
  12. I am sure that the universe couldn't handle a AT&T/Verizon/T-Mobile version of S4GRU. It would implode upon itself much like this.

And while we may only have 20K members, much like lilomitz said, that is only those that have registered. I am sure the site gets visited by many that do not register but still get a bit of knowledge out of the site and pass the word to friends and family that the network is improving and set to be top notch.

  13. You are lucky because your on a iPhone too so your able to use it. Triband phones can't yet because of csfb.

Of course, right as I read your response I start cycling B26 > B25 > EVDO > nothing > EVDO, lol. Definitely a work in progress, but very promising.
