  1. First, do you have the latest 4.4.3 update? If not, you might have trouble connecting to 41. Also, what town do you live in? Band 41 is pretty plentiful in most areas. It's not everywhere, but it's not hard to find. If you have signal check installed, that will be your quickest way to see what you're connected to, otherwise, dial (I think, and someone else correct me if I'm wrong) *#*#debug#*#* then click LTE. That's your engineering screen and will tell you your connected band. If you're using signal check, on your pull down shade, look at your gci, more specifically, the last 2 digits. 00/01/02 is band 25, 03/04/05 is the new second pcs carrier, and 0F/10/11 is band 26. Now for band 41, I've found that the FIRST two digits will be either 00 or 08. Hope this helps. And for the most recent maps of band 26/41, look into premier sponsorship.

Yep got the update and new radio. I use the Nexus 5 field test to view what Band I am connected to. I see it quickly scan B26 and B41 but always stays on B25.

    My location

    Yorkville, IL 60560

  2. How can I tell if I have B26 and B41 in my area? I can see it scan them on a week LTE but never stays connected then falls back to B25 or 3G. Sprints maps say spark is enabled but I have never connected to B26 & B41 ever. I live west of Chicago..Yorkville 60560 zip. At home I'm serving cell 379

  4. The new radio is garbage. I can't believe sprint and Google had us wait this long only to release this crap. I was constantly camping on 3g in areas I get good LTE... forced to go back to .15 because of this. Not happy about this update for us. Seems sprint users always get the shaft.

  5. How can I tell if I have B26 and B41 in my area? I have never seen my phone connected to them ever in LTE engineering. I'm in the south west suburbs of Chicago. Yorkville to be exact 60560.

The new radio sucks for me out here. I keep dropping back to 3g in areas I had LTE before. I'm going back to .15

  6. I just got a N5 the other day. And I've been trying to search the threads on getting the other LTE bands to connect. I enabled them and set priority to band 45 but I'm still only connect to band 25. I live in a reported spark area, Yorkville il 60560. A rual Chicago western suburb. If anyone can give me some pointers to test out in my area I'd appreciate it.

  7. I live out in Yorkville,(zip 60560) far west suburb. Service has been horrible, dropped calls, very slow data, but this last week things have improved. At night when the network is not congested i hit 2mbs. But during the day i get a bout 200kbps. So i dont think the back haul has been upgraded or if it even is. There is only 2 towers that i know of out here. Does anyone know if they are bringing LTE out here? (verizion has) and If they are upgrading the towers. Im thinking of switching carriers if they are not doing so. But i will stay if they plan on expanding rural areas out here and get an lte phone.

  8. I'm having similar issues that tongboy was having. I'm in the Aurora/Montgomery/Oswego area, and there are times when I cannot make calls, or drop calls a lot, and data speeds are still painfully slow. The NV map shows the towers in my area as complete for the NV upgrades... but still not sure why this is happening. Any ideas?

I live in Yorkville and the same thing. For the last month.

  9. I live in Yorkville and my dad lives in Waterman. I can test but Im not sure what device is required. I have a Epic Touch and OG Epic. I have installed custom prl's on the touch a few times, but Im unsure It either of these devices are able to get on 800. Let me know If I can and I will post my results when I can get out by Waterman. Also in Yorkville we have been having many dropped calls, duplicate/late text, time changing to a hour ahead. Do you know what is going on in my area this last month? I know they have lost quite a few costumers because of this. Is you list of live NV sites public? If so where can I view this at?
