  1. I believe ur correct.... the pic I posted the other day of the 2 guys installing the conduit, possibly roughing in the fiber and other various cables and not seeing any new hardware in the sky... should confirm that thought... I wouldn't think they would install all the cabinets and such if they are just going to sit there
  2. From what I have seen the manufacturer says power has to be turned on to the panels and radios within 24 hours of their packing materials being opened.... not sure how long till it actually goes "active" but there is power
  3. Actually went thru there today also and didn't even think about it... I was running sensorly the first time I went thru and then the following day, the second time I was talking on the phone and registered 19 points.... I actually bit the bullet and got one of these really tiny Galaxy Notes... I got the otter box defender for it... all I can say is its a monster
  4. Picked up faint 4g on blanding this morning in orange park..... didn't have time to chase it down.... did catch the eye of a policeman and had a little tag along for a bit...
  5. In reference to JA33XC051..... Co-location on existing tower.... The LTE stuff I have come across seems to always have a value of 100k this one is 30k... Deductive reasoning would say it is a voice up grade but I am human..... It's another westower job
  6. Ok noob like question...... Are there differences in antennas? I have seen references to different "cells" didn't know if different antennas cover more area then others......
  7. No need to take pictures but I got some anyways there was a 4 inch PVC pipe containing plans for Jacobs telecommunications doing sprint work  I might try to go back and get pictures of the plans
  8. I probably just would have went up and asked out of interest..... Im going to try to get some pics of a tower near where im at today the antennas look the same...
  9. Westowers did the upgrade on the baymeadows tower..... Its all in how you search public records
  10. I see westowers and another guy holding a contractors license... itll take some learning to understand their system
  11. Ill have to check here in a bit.... had to put down the computer for a bit to get a hold of reality.... had a nerdism attack.... but it all looks promising
  12. FYI...... There's at least 4 contractors working within Clay and Duval counties.....
  13. Ya I kinda figured that app wasn't the best... just playing around with different ones on the play store. ... When I was at the tire kingdom I pressed the info button on open signal and it showed the I was using gsm I thought sprint didnt use gsm
  14. If I get a run out that way today ill apply the ninja  like receiving abilities of my phone to the LTE airwaves
  15. Apparently I have the supercharged LTE receiving phone:).. maybe I should drive by and coax the LTE out of hiding tomorrow.....
  16. Seems like a stretch but could it be from the doctors inlet tower..... thought crossed my mind this morning
  17. I got it again this morning so I stopped and verified what I posted earlier 4g only runs from trail ridge north to havenwood... so I got a speed test and Started sensorly Checked the flag pole and confirmed there was nothing... went to the tower I saw metro work going on and picked it up again but only within 100yds of the tower.... Im not sure how the testing is done but the area on Sr 23 is cut and dry... once again should be on sensorly shortly
