The LTEVO was a little fussy getting LTE signal lock but it did fairly well holding the signal once I acquired it. I spent about 1 1/2 hours driving around Howell checking the 3 towers in the area that are in progress for LTE upgrades (info based on sponsor level access - don't ask me for details if you don't have this access - I won't give it). I was kind of surprised how long I held LTE heading out on M-59. I certainly couldn't lock onto it that soon coming into the area.

 

Also, here are some screenshots I took: Speedtest.net app, Network Signal Info app, and info from LTE record off the phone.

It's love seeing those kind of speeds! Blows out my cable Internet speed...!

I drove by the site today, they had lifted 1 side of the antenna up already. If they are any still on the ground when I leave today I will try and snag a picture.

Thank you. If you could come to Maryville and experience these 3G speeds, you might step to the edge with me! There are times of the day when it's literally unusable. Like, no data.

 

Again, thanks for the quick responses guys. I figured Maryville would be included, but uncertainty was creeping up.

If I lived closer, I would drive there and find out what the 3g speed is like, but I live around Warsaw, IN area... It would be quite the road trip. Where I live in get any where from 0.5mb/s DL up to 2.0mb/s DL speed on 3g.

I was looking on my wife's phone and LTE is turned on and everything but when you go to ##data, view, then advanced and scroll down it shows LTE is disabled. I toggled the lte mode off and on but still shows disabled. My note 2 shows enabled. What does others show?

Mine also shows disabled. Never checked it when connected to LTE, I would imagine it would say enabled?

Early Christmas present from sprint

Okay. Awesome.

 

I'm going ahead and getting Sprint service with an S3 today after I get off work at 6am. Best Buy is selling the Galaxy S 3 for $50.

 

I will immediately install Sensorly, and let 'er rip, will post back!

Sounds like an awesome plan! Great combination sprint and a S3! Won't be disappointed! (especially with 4g)

I have a rooted SGS3, and have no issues with sensorly.. Works just fine. Drove around last night mapping out some of Ft Wayne, Indiana and surrounding areas that aren't currently on the map.

Doesn't Hurt to have that kind of Internet speed! I was up on Illinois Rd (sr14) coming into Fort Wayne and recieved probably the fasted speedtest I ever had...

Hope the picture comes out to be legible. The screen shot takes great pics but when I send them, they come out fuzzy.
