I have mine downloaded w/root. This is some of the the features the update includes, and it also has some new camera firmware. I don't know what the new camera firmware consists of haven't really looked into it.

I have a feeling half of the Sensorly mappers on Sprint will buy tri-band devices almost immediately lol
I'll more than likely be one of them. Lol...

Yup, appears to only be visual changes. Is any one else unable to get usage information from both the web site, the text service, and *4 at this time? Because I'm having no luck.
I'm unable to get usage info on text and "activate this device" menu..

I've actually had amazing experiences while dealing with the Radio Shacks in my area, it's actually where I originally signed up for Sprint. They most of the time have been more educated than Sprint stores, and from my experience for some reason it took Radio Shack a lot less time and hassle to port in my # than it did Sprint.
As for people worried about being forced to switch when they upgrade, I don't think it's time to start worrying about that just yet.
On top of the more educated, quicker and less hassle aspects, they offered my brother a better insurance coverage for his SGS3 and it's a buck cheaper...

I have some errands to run later this evening, I think I'm going to stop into the Sprint store and see what they try to sell me for 3 smartphones. I'm going to play the average Joe that is shopping around.
Sounds like a great plan!
I'm thinking about doing the same..

Let me know what you find out when you go to sign them up.
I will do that. Might be a week to a month before they sign up..
I thought about going to Walmart wireless store or radio shack and see what they say. Out of curiosity..

Yeah, I've been with them about the same amount of time. This really wouldn't be that big of a deal if all the Reps were decent and honest... But that's not always the case. I know my closest store wouldn't recommend the older plans even if they saved the person money. As for not being normal I'll use one of my favorite quotes "I'm not drunk, I'm just psychotic..."
Decent and honest Reps.. We all could wish.. I doubt my local store would offer them the old plans, some barely know their job that well..
I have a couple people interested in moving to Sprint and of course I'll make sure they know about the. "older" plans and to ask for them..
Not that It'll help much, I'll go in with them when they sign up, and I'll ask the Reps about It.
By the way.. Nice quote.. Who's it by?

Have you actually walked into a store and tried to get on one of the older plans? It's not people on this board I'm concerned about, it's normal people that may end up looking into Sprint. If the plans aren't advertised well and people don't know about them a careless Rep could simply direct people into the new plans, even if the old would fit them better. That's my issue with this.
I see your point, Epic4G25.. There wouldn't be a way for possible new customers to know about the older plans unless they were sent there by someone from this forum or others that are aware of it..
Lol... Normal people? We're not normal?".. (I get what you're saying, though. Just thought it was a little humorous. )
I would try to walk into the store and try, but they already know who I am and that I've been with Sprint for a little over 3 years..

Or they could simply mean for those who already have it.
One way to find out.. Go in and ask..

Just because they're not on the website doesn't mean you can get them, ASK FOR THEM... they still have them, and you want the either the Everything Data and Simply Everything plans their still able to sign you up for them, they just prefer you go with the "new" option, just because they'll "probably be pushing you toward the new plans".. Doesn't mean you still can't have the old.... PUSH BACK...

If I do not have an Unlimited, My Way or My All-in plan, do I have The Sprint Unlhttp://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/4184-new-sprint-plansunlimited-my-way-my-all-in/page-21&do=findComment&comment=168191imited Guarantee?
No. The Everything Data and Simply Everything plans are still available and continue to offer unlimited data and to provide a premier wireless experience. However, The Sprint Unlimited Guarantee applies only to the Unlimited, My Way and My All-in plans.
They still have the everything Data and SImply Everything plans...

This explains the sleeping in between typing update reports I've heard of.I took it about 10 years ago. I am an ISTJ. The Wikipedia description of an ISTJ seems pretty accurate for me.

Hence the dog picture, you softie!I'm an INFJ, and it seems to fit quite well.
What class did you have to take it for? I took it in (2) 8 hour testing sessions for a marketing class.I took the test a few months ago for an assignment for a college course I was taking... Seems pretty accurate....
I bet you LOVE Tampa then, :jester:ENTP.
I took I in a psychology class @ CTU. It was part of a homework assignment..

Truth.
Can you renew your contract without getting a phone, then get a phone off ebay saving the upgrade for later when the 800 phones are released?
You can just by a phone off eBay and add it to your line then renew your contract later when you decide to get the triband phone. I've done it a couple times in the past while I was waiting on a phone that I wanted, but didn't come out for a few months.

I can tell no difference on WIFI
^ Another Tapatalk edit bites the dust!
Neither can I.. I know it wouldn't effect Wifi, idk about evdo/LTE or 1x..
On those fronts I really haven't paid much attention to it..
Yeah, I noticed that after I edited It.. Why does it do that? Anyone know?

I've heard that people were receiving better reception with the new modem.. But personally I can't really tell a difference. But that's me and I'm usually on WIFI.

Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

Well worth it, the modem upgrade is very obvious. -
