  1. So was drving home from lunch, and they must have had one of the towers near South Rangeline up, showed 4G on my phone. Ran a quick speed test and pulled 11mbps down and 10mbps up! But lost the signal or they turned it off as soon as I got the the parking lot at work
  2. Towers at Rangeline and 32nd and Rangeline and Silvercreek both had crews on them this morning. I will check to see if they are still there when I go home for lunch.
  3. All three towers are being worked on again today as well. Yay progress!
  4. Oh your welcome, my wife thought I was a big dork because I got all giddy when I found out all 3 towers are within 1-2 miles of our house. CANT WAIT!
  5. Ok, I can now confirm the following towers curenlty have crews on them installing pannels in the Joplin, MO area. * for site IDs please see sponsor section * I got pictures of 2 out of the 3, did not notice 460 was being worked on until we passed it on Rangeline Rd. Seems to be at least 2-3 guys on each tower, and at least 1-2 guys on the ground at each site.
  6. Ok, got a chance to look it up. Looks like its *, I go right by when when I drive home, ill snag a picture when I go home for lunch. EDIT Here is a pic from the parking lot at work. Will try to get a better one in about an hour or so.
  7. Will have to check later for the towers name, but one in Joplin just south of 32nd on rangeline has a crane lifting some equipment to it.
  8. Indeed. 4 days with no updates, feels like forever compared to how it was going.
  9. Had the same problem trying to find it. But damn thats out in the middle of nowhere.
  10. I did not even know that CJ was on the list for an upgrade at this point. Makes me hopeful that other towers in town might come live that we did not know about.
  11. I work just up the road from there at the Att call center, no signal here yet .
  12. Do we have any idea on the speeds and possible signal range of this site?
  13. Was looking at sensorly(sp), and I see people have picked up signals in Pittsburgh and Nevada.
  14. Oh that post, I thought it was something in the subscriber area that I was not aware of.
  15. Did Joplin get announced as a work in progress? If so I will be glued to my EVO LTE waiting for the day that beautiful little 4G icon appears.
  16. Thanks for the heads up. It does list the network as CDMA-eHRPD
  17. Maybe it just does not show up on my phone that way, or I'm looking in the wrong place. Just shows up as 3G.
  18. I had kind of figured it would be Feb or March that we would get LTE. No other updates here, still get between 1.5-2.5mbps on 3G, and no signs of eHRPD.
  19. Nothing that drastic, I have most of what I want already. Just now and then if I'm in a hurry. That or netflix/hulu over the mhl cable to the tv.
  20. 5Mbps cable internet here, but cant wait to tether my PC to the EVO for some serious streaming/downloading.
  21. Well I got my EVO LTE today, so I am at least ready to go once it gets here.
