  1. I'm glad that its the case if the video was faked now back on my short list of devices still hate the 1gb of ram but will see if there is an update for wifi calling down the line as well. Would like that feature!

Don't know if this has been said yet(tried to search first) -- iPhone 6/6+ Sprint Wifi Calling update targeted no later than early 2015.

  2. The one thing T-Mobile does right is make it's plans immediately available and configurable via the website. The official Sprint announcement was nearly a week ago and you still can't really do ANYTHING for Family Share plans except "Make an appointment."

What about people wanting to, you know, actually switch TO Sprint? They need brand new phones so let them shop for them!

I wonder if Tmobile has gone to one pricing model for both their consumer and business customers. I've found pricing on Sprint if you get set up as a business account is much better than what I had on Framily and prev UnlMyWay.

For $30 I get 2GB data, hotspot, direct connect (I don't really use it). The data pools together - I have 3 phones so 6GB. And then I added a tablet for $10 and it just shares in the data pool. I recently got the new LivePro hotspot/projector. That's $35/month and adds I think another 3GB..so I actually have about 9GB total. I like the idea of pooling between all my devices. I think I lucked out too b/c they offered double the data on the phones than normal. I'm glad I got in on that before it ended otherwise I'd only have about 6GB to play with. If I need more data, there is a 4GB and Unl data option on the phones I was told.
  3. True that.

    Per their FAQ.

I very much dislike how new customers always get the best deals.  It does't encourage loyalty AT ALL!!!

Just a guess, but I'm guessing they will cave and make it available for existing as well. It is total BS as it stands right now. Definitely not 'uncarrier'.

Hopefully Marcello's team keeps their ears to the ground right away on this and can react quickly.

  4. Verizon waiting until 2016 to deploy LTE-only devices.
It is interesting to see how each carrier is going about or discussing their VoLTE plans.

How big of a deal is VoLTE really the next couple of years? (Well for Sprint users, probably a bigger deal than some --due to no SVDO/SVLTE right now on Spark devices). But I wonder if it's that important if a carrier launches 2015 versus 2016 for example.

  5. Who care if sprint show 2.6gb in a lab. Sprint pr and management are so inept. Those type of things are kept in the lab not doing some stupid press conference in Frisco about plans for the future. You keep thing under wrap then when the network is fully upgraded everywhere with the appropriate backhaul then you have a press conference then announce as a today sprint offer 300 megabits down in the top 150 markets in America. That is a called catching the competition by surprise.

You don't show your competition what you plan to do you stab them from behind.

Depending on the day I would tend to agree. And 'stab in the back' is a great way to put it - so ruthless. I love it.

My first thought on the October 2013 announcement was oh how premature.

However, I think it was a worthy announcement however premature. It was about the only positive piece at the time. It has rolled fairly quickly to almost 20 markets. Reported speeds for end of 2015 have already bumped to 180Gbps. I think the new ownership will be aggressive as possible with it - recently claiming a possible rival to cable companies (we'll see).

Sprint has had many firsts in the industry but not too many worthy lately.

This may be the first one in a while and while it wont be experienced nationwide for everyone I think it is recognized as legit and they are the first.

It takes a little, at least a very little if any wind out of the competition's blasting of Sprint.

What did it do for the stock? I havent looked. Could be another reason for premature announcement.

  6. Both LTE iPhones support 1x800 voice. As for HD Voice, I'm really not sure which phones do support it, as I thought it was supposed to be on all 1x800 capable LTE phones except the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy Nexus.

Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2

After reviewing the chart again, I guess 800voice is not a must since for example the iphone 4 and 4s are not on there -- non LTE of course. I didn't look at the whole list but prob safe to say they are all 800voice. The iphone 5 and up is.

Iphone 5c and up are HD voice capable after latest iOS update.
