  1. Robert, https://network.sprint.com/search/22601/ everywhere that it shows 2 data speed upgrades are active LTE towers and are in the right spots. The locations that only show 1 upgrade are towers that I have seen work being done in the past couple weeks. Hopefully that makes it a little easier to mark the towers and if you need any of them mapped that are close just let me know. PS SH00VA011 in Middletown is on the wrong side of I81
  2. The tower on the Exxon sign at exit 317 on I81 is now active, battery has been to low to map it but I got a speed test https://www.dropbox....%2021.40.38.png. A tower has been turned on around Route 37 and US 50 but the signal quickly drops heading west after Rt37. Also got some pictures of the Sprint and AT&T equipment on top of the George Washington Hotel. Unfortunately Shentel hasn't started the upgrade on it and it will be about a year before I can get back on the roof. Sorry for some of the images being sideways, the accelerometer has stopped working on my phone. https://www.dropbox....w7b0/yfNcmqm5ew
  3. I mapped US11 from Winchester down to New Market and back up I81 to Strasburg and then to Front Royal and up US522 back to Winchester. I even side tracked to Shentel's HQ in Edinburg (it's been a few years since I was in there for training). My phone absolutely refused to connect in Front Royal even running in LTE only but i was able to add about 6000 LTE points on my journey.
  4. Just wanted to make sure you didn't miss it. I'm sure there are a couple more that have been activated since my last trip down there. It shouldn't be to long before I get back down there for work and can map some more.
  5. My EVO has held down to -131, not a very good but it kept it for about a minute before i got to a better signal. My mom has a S3 and has a problem connecting to 1x in our metal office building when my EVO gets 3 bars. We have Wifi so LTE usually disconnects before I even get a chance to check it but when my wifi is off my LTE stays connected on usable with 3-4mbps up and down while her S3 cant even connect standing in the parking lot with -80 to -90 depending on witch side of the building you are. The weird thing is on the same tower but a different sector she can connect just fine. Back to the original topic, There are at least 3 more towers here in Winchester. They are somewhere around exits 315, 313, 310. Robert, you still haven't added Front Royal from where I mapped back in Oct.
  6. Drove south past the tower at exit 307 on I81 around 2:30 this afternoon and had nothing. Drove back north at about 4:00 and had me some LTE goodness. You can see the difference in the map on Sensorly between the south and north trip. http://www.sensorly....1908,-78.215922
  7. And yet another Exxon sign is being upgraded https://www.dropbox.com/s/mcejg61qbiecxds/2012-11-01%2017.45.59-32.jpg This one is just off exit 317 on I81.
  8. The tower on I81 at exit 302 on the Liberty sign is now active https://www.dropbox....%2002.44.51.png EDIT: Looks like someone mapped in Wardensville, WV and Berryville, VA in the past few days.
  9. Passed an A/L van packing up for the end of the day working on the panels on the Exxon sign on I81 exit 310. Looks like they just started work there in the passed couple days.
  10. It looks like there is a Liberty sign at exit 302 with the nv panels on it but I couldn't connect to it.
  11. I got some mapping done in Front Royal today. It seemed like I picked it up sooner than I did the other week but can't be sure. The panels at exit 307 have been painted black since yesterday but I couldn't get any pictures of them.
  12. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rzb2l2cxbe8w7b0/yfNcmqm5ew Heres a different view of the panels at exit 307 Robert, there's another one on an Exxon sign in Winchester at exit 310. Hopefully they upgrade that one soon, it's so overloaded that dial up is faster and more reliable.
  13. https://www.dropbox.com/s/n4v4ww9oa5r4gjg/2012-10-16%2010.25.10-13.jpg is the full version of the picture
  14. It's a tower(can't think of the proper term right now). It was up yesterday, I look at it every time i get off at that exit. I noticed the lift there yesterday while eating lunch at Taco Bell. https://www.dropbox.com/s/n4v4ww9oa5r4gjg/2012-10-16%2010.25.10-13.jpg
  15. It looks like this one is next. This is along I81 at exit 307. There was no markings that I could see on them.
  16. @PythonFanTN Nice work along I81. I would have mapped a lot more today but Sensorly decided it was going to use half my battery in 30 minutes then once I finally got off work and could charge my phone, it decided to not map anything while using the map trip. The good news is I was able to keep my LTE throughout most of Winchester today. I'll try to ride around tomorrow to see what I can find. I'm hoping they upgrade the tower on the George Washington Hotel's roof by the time I do my next fire inspection so I can get some good pictures of the equipment
  17. Just picked up a signal in northern Winchester that wasn't there yesterday. I mapped what I could driving between job sites.
  18. The radio has been acting up in my phone and completely locking up until I restart it so you may have better luck than me picking it up along I81.
  19. I think what i picked up in lower Winchester/Kernstown may have been coming from Stevens City as I only connected when I was facing towards Stevens City. I couldn't pick up a lte signal on I81 between Winchester and Stevens City.
  20. I've picked up LTE in Front Royal, VA, Stevens City VA, and in the lower part of Winchester, VA. While it hasn't been full coverage, the speeds average from 10-16Mbps down and around 5-10Mbps and peaking at 20Mbps down. I've been seeing an Alcatel Lucent van 2-3 times a week for the past few weeks.
  21. New Benelli shotgun, nice juicy ribeye, and listening to @BDX_Skarcrow album "South of Hell". Good times
