I dunno how accurate the test are according to the speed test app.If those speed tests are accurate, then they necessarily point to 20 MHz FDD.

But I can really tell the difference in the way my phone reacts say when I open and play netflix, showbox, etc. Buffering/loading doesn't even last 2 seconds.
BTW, earlier today

For the last 2 to 3 years the speeds have constantly gone up not down from when lte first went live started at about 20 MBs. Heck, even if the speeds were cut in half later on I still be really stoked.Just wait until the network loads up. We have seen this with Verizon, in the beginning speeds that were insane at the time and now it's like B25 at times.

I believe 15x15 I don't have the service menu to tell me what I am connected to. All I know is that most places here ave over 90-100MB+ . It's just at my home on the east rural end of the island I Ave in the 130's MB now for the last 2 months the or so

My interpretation of capacity would be like... The capacity to provide up to 400 data connections per tower without slowing down.Capacity is having data during a nfl game and not timing out.

Wouldn't capacity have a direct correlation to speed?Capacity, speed, cheap, coverage. Out of those four attributes, you can only have three.

What is the current setup now on Oahu? Its like that in a lot of places. Tmobile used 10x10 for most of its AWS spectrum and some markets have since gotten 15x15 or 20x20 I believe. Sprint used only 5x5 for SMR and G Block bands. Haven't looked into what theyre using for their 2.5GHz.
But like I said, Spark can theoretically reach into the gbps. If it gets that fast, who knows. Sprint also owns a lot of LTE spectrum. Whether they use it or not, who knows.
5x5mhz

Can't wait to see those speeds.Hopefully, they pass at&t and Verizon hereOnce 800 LTE is fully launched, coverage will be better. Then once the fire up the 8t8r's, then capacity will not be an issue.
I looked at the building permits, and there is no mention of 8t8r's. So you will have to look at the antennas.
-
Grapplefu,Spark theoretically can reach speeds into the gbps when optimized. Current markets with Spark have real world speeds of 80+mbps right now. However with Spark being on 2.5ghz, building penetration won't be strong.
Last night there was another bump in speed on Oahu.I was averaging about 103MB Down in Hawaii Kai real world.

My question was directed at the statement of Sprint will blow away the competitors. I am assuming he meant speed of download? Because as far as coverage is concerned? At&t and Verizon has the edge here on Oahu in that regard.Unless you're torrenting something, would it even be noticeable? Normal web browsing/youtube/social networking, I can't tell the difference between regulat Sprint LTE and any other network.

My coworker had 4G Lte at the Hawaii Kai golf course this past Sundaynetwork.sprint showing hawaii kai, ft ruger, punchbowl, lower nuuanu, upper nuuanu, waimalu, wahiawa, and makakilo. Things are coming along nicely
-
In terms of speed?per sponsor access to schedules, Band 41 is rather 90-180 days out. All the hard work has been completed for Network Vision 1.0 which is Band 25. Band 41 will blow away the competitors.
T-mobile in town especially in Waikiki averages about 60-70+MB download 15-20MB upload
My Co workers on Sprint will be happy with Spark if it tops T-mobile speeds

Aloha, do you all automatically get lte? Or do you have to put into airplane mode or power cycle to receive lte? Co workers 3 of them telling me that they never see lte. One in Salt Lake area which is covered in sensorly, one in Kahuku, and the other in Nimitz in kalihi which is also covered in sensorly?Got a strong signal again in Halawa.
-
Even in Salt Lake area a friend of mine had LTE last week or so? But none now.NO - I got nothing at Lanikai.....
Towers still shut down in Kailua
Hopefully they don't make us wait much longer....
I wonder if all the lte is shut down?
Hopefully, soon lte will be back
-
Anything new to report?Mid-Pac LTE is promissing! Ill Check at Lanikai Beach tonight.
That would be a different tower they are testing.
Which would mean 2 tower in kailua!
YAY!
-
Mahalocat, did lte come back in Kailua?Sprint Giveth and the Taketh away.....back to 3g in Kailua....
A friend had LTE all of Monday at Mid Pacific country club in Lanikai.
-
CheeehooooIt was an xposed module that would show 1xRTT instead of hiding it behind a 3g symbol. Got LTE now through Mapunapuna and under the viaduct. Mapping on sensorly 5mbit on the fringes in Mapunapuna
